Hi all I was posting to see anyone had any advice on this. I pre-ordered Uncharted 2 from Best Buy for the golden guns bonus. I got the game today and I pulled off the sticker on the pre-order card and it ripped half the code off. I called Sony and they said to go back to retailer and if the retailer couldn't give me a replacement then they would help me out. I went back to the Best Buy and they didn't have any more boxes to replace mine with. So I called Sony back and they changed their mind and said that they couldn't  help me out. Has anyone had to deal with this before? Are are any more steps I could take or am I just out of luck? Thanks.

If you really did 'rip half the code off' surely you can reassemble the 2 pieces.  If there's a single character you can't get, guess a few times, shouldn't take that long.  Otherwise you're out of luck.

Honestly the golden guns are worthless. They are actually separate gun types, meaning you cannot get new ammo for them (unless someone else has dropped a golden gun). Instead of using AK47 ammo, you drop your current gun and pick up a new AK47....

Nothing tape can fix. Unless you can't decipher the code at all. Is it really that bad?

Unless it kills everyone in one shot (including multiplayer) its not a golden gun.
