I know that we are split but some people love the direction that Sony took the PS3 style with the Slim and others prefer the old style.  We now have that style going to Uncharted.  It always hit me as odd as how the game sites were presenting the box art for U2.  But then I go pick up my copy from the Best Buy and see this fucking ugly piece of shit.  I know that no one was thrilled sony just reused their font from Spider-Man for the PS3 but the box had some definition to it.  Did anyone manage to get it in the old style.  I look at it and the blu ray box itself doesnt have the PlaySation 3 name etched on the top of the box.  Which did you get?  is it possible to get the old one?

It doesn't look as impressive I admit. I'm much more interested in the contents though.

I don't really care, its what's inside the box that counts. Besides, I can't really see the box art if it's inside a shelf.

To answer your question, NO. All new print of PS3 games will have that kind of design. I for one like the new design. Simple and to the point. 

I like the new box art for PS3 games but the subtitle "Only on PlayStation" should've been pushed into the top header.

It doesn't look as good but this is one of those things that doesn't bother me.

I prefer the original, although I don't give a shit. The uncharted boxart is pretty good I must admit

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Special Edition as a rather stylish steel case. Though I actually like the normal box art for Uncharted 2.  
 

Yeah, I prefer the old style too. Luckily the EU are getting the spiderman font for U2, probably one of the last few games before the new style comes in...

As long as the box is the same shape as the old, I don't care.

It doesn't look as impressive, but I really don't care. And for anybody who does, you've got to admit it is still better than that box art of the Wii.

I really did prefer the old-style of logo. It just looked kind of classy and high-end. Not that it really matters though. Still hate to see something go backwards.

Don't really care, but personally I prefer the new look.

1. Who really cares, its just the box art.  
2. I actually prefer the new box art. I think the Playstation 3 logo on the left side of the case looks out of place, I've never liked it, nor have I ever liked Blu-ray cases in general.  
3. Try living in Australia where they put massive rating logo's on the bottom of the cover art. 

I just like playing the game, box art is irrelevant unless you want to show off your game collection to your uncaring friends and relatives.
