Tell me what you think uncharted 3 should be like. They have had Jungle, snow themes what about Egypt or Pyramids or Atlantis maybe!!
i think Uncharted 3: Pandora's box would be cool! Better yet Uncharted 3: Egypt
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Game » consists of 14 releases. Released Oct 13, 2009
Nathan Drake returns to find the lost secret of Marco Polo, in this sequel to the 2007 sleeper hit Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
Uncharted 3?
" Personally I'd love a new Jak and Daxter game by them. "Uncharted 3: Daxter's Revenge
Given the way that Uncharted 2 ended, there's a certain duo of characters that should be rather inseparable at this point given what they've now been through together.
So Drake + Elena Co-Op. And honestly I'm not going to toss out any setting recommendations. I'm perfectly fine with the environmentally diverse -- yet locationally ambiguous -- areas they've been throwing out there with these last couple games.
Africa in general would be awesome and maybe a little quick trip to Italy like the Istanbul section i U2. Palermo maybe.
I would actually like to see it set in various locations around the world. Egypt, Greece, Italy, Israel...That whoe region of the mimddel east has so much rich history that ND can play with. I think it would be cool to see Drake sneak in to the Vatican's vault in order to steal some ancient map or something like that. A level set in the great pyramids, A level set in Jerusalem, and so forth.
" Rumor is that they're focusing on a new Jak and Daxter game now. "If true that seems like a regression in every sense. Ratchet and Clank have had two fantastic outings on the PS3 both of which have been commercial flops, so much so that they are abandoning the franchise.
I don't have a problem with them doing something else. I might actually want to see the next Uncharted on new hardware. The prospect of a new Jak game doesn't do anything for me. An angsty protagonist with a wise-ass sideick, stop the presses that's something that needs to be explored further.
South America with some aliens.
Seriously, I like the idea of something different than the Indiana Jones run-of-the-mill treasure hunt. Like in the first Uncharted game, it started out as nothing so predictable. In other games, we've already ventured into the pyramids (Egyptian ones), discovered Atlantis, and uncovered Thor's Hammer. I don't want to see a quest for the Spear of Destiny, the Tree of Life or the Fountain of Youth. No Excalibur or Golden Fleece. Honestly, I'd much prefer him going after something mundane like "Lincoln's Gold". Remember the start of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? I think the story of how Indy acquired that big diamond is much more interesting than all the mumbo-jumbo "fortune and glory" stuff that followed. That's what I'd prefer to see for Drake in the next episode. Also, more Elena because I think she's the best female character in modern gaming.
There's an idea. Give Elena her own spin off game where she's investigating a story that takes her into harm's way in pursuit of the truth. Something that is more of a mystery than an adventure. Or (more likely) let us play as Elena for parts of Drake 3 during her investigative portions of the tale.
For a setting, I'd choose the Anasazi ruins in the American Southwest, the sewers of Paris, and the Etruscan cities of Pre-Rome, Italy.

As odd as it sounds, that's exactly what I was thinking. Not the entire game, but the elements that seem to be incorporated into Heavy Rain applied to Elena's story in an Uncharted sequel. I hope that games like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake do take players in new directions as far as story interaction, and I hope we see those influences in other game genres.

"I appreciate the thought behind this but honestly, I predict that Heavy Rain and Alan Wake won't even be what fell off of Uncharted.
Personally I don't care where they go or what they do as long as it's a non-stop, rocket-buster of a game like the first two.
I'm all for innovation and evolution but I'd much rather see Uncharted stay more like Die Hard and less like Michael Clayton.
Atlantis. I mean, not the whole game. In the first you were trying to find El Dorado, and in U2 you were looking for Shambala. Why not some other crazy shit. Plus, that would be really beautiful.
And for the crazy monster this time? How about mermaids! Nah, seriously, they need to stop with the monster shit.
SPOIL:
Both Uncharted games start off with Drake in search of a treasure that has monetary value due to being made of precious materials, which he ends up needing to bury in order to protect the world from its dangerous applications in warfare.
Someone already brought up Thor's Hammer. I was thinking he goes to find it and discovers that it's actually a forge hammer that controls a devastatingly powerful race of golems (Golden Army/Dragon Age, anyone?). This would place him in the Scandanavian region, giving them snow and water, and maybe the 'Elena gets ruined bad' sequence in this one is her falling into the freezing waters and Drake having to keep her warm. Rowr.
Considering the incredible plethora of ancient Japanese myths and legends that were based on rumors and half-truths, Japan seems like a good target for him to uncover an untapped secret. It would allow some great changes in scenery, and Uncharted's first forays into truly urban environments. Imagine something like the truck chase sequence in Uncharted 2, except Drake is trying his best to not fall off of cars as they speed and crash through the Shibuya district. He'd be unarmed (because Drake would never even accidentally shoot innocents fleeing the scene), so he'd have to use his fists to deal with guys, making his way to the front to get something from the Harry Flynn of the game. Maybe he daringly escapes a crash into a train station. And then has to try to avoid the authorities blaming him for millions of dollars of damage.
They've done a famous shipwreck, any plane crashes carrying riches or treasure? Maybe he uncovers the secret of the Bermuda Triangle?
Whatever you do, no Italy. I am Italyed out.
I would like to see an Uncharted game set all around the world with the story revolving around the Templars or the Freemasons.
