" I noticed this in the beta too, but when playing through the coop levels on crushing difficulty all the mercenaries seem to basically become undead with having their bare skulls on display. I initially thought that was centred around the eventual mythical twist Uncharted 2's story was sure to have...but that was saved for the athletic, bullet sponging crazies.  Soo what, is going againt the legion of the undead in the coop missions is just for abit of comedy ooor....=S "

The armored shotgun wielding guys have face masks and helmets that you can shoot off. They have a white cloth mask underneath, kind of looks like a skull. I assume that is what you are talking about, if not then I have no idea haha.

Have you beat co-op on crushing? My friend and I couldn't even make it past the third area in Nepal.
