I'm currently sitting on a wait of 35 mins and it's still just saying that it's Finding Player... I'm in the UK, dunno if that changes anything. Hope they can push out a fix soon as it's pretty much broken for me right now.

It's working for me. Maybe you can only get matched to people who also are running 1.02 and there aren't many yet?

Am I the only person who finds it weird that a beta is getting a patch? Aren't betas supposed to be types of demos for the eventual game?

Did they add anything?  I don't like how they took away three team deathmatch, cause I never had a chance to try it out.  

I didn't notice any changes in-game, but when I quit, it didn't reboot my PS3. So that's an improvement. I think part of the point of a beta is to make improvements, so I think there should be a couple patches, especially since it still has some bugs left in it.

There's a whole patch list, there's a new mode and a new font for all the menu stuff. It's just not matchmaking for some people but it's a beta y'all, I understand.

Why the hell did they remove Free-For-All? That was the only game mode I played and the only game mode I want to play. This sucks.

1. Put little effort into a demo.
2. Call it a "beta" so nobody can get mad at you.

5. Sell it.

No, the general idea of beta is beta testing. Test the software in real-world conditions and then fix the problems that show up.

At least that's what beta meant originally.

I'm having the same issue. Matchmaking is completely broken for me here in Norway.

Yeah, matchmaking was acting weird for me earlier. Also, am I stupid, or is there no way to quit in between matches? I fucking hate it when games do that.

Yes. Betas are products which are still in testing but unlike Alphas they are being tested externally, ie with a live audience. It's normal for products in beta to be patched.

Some people have started treating Betas like demos, but Betas are not at all demos. Demos are a marketing thing to give people a taste of the game. Betas are used to test and improve components of the game so ofcourse they will be patched.

Sweden, matchmaking has been f'd up. Took 6-7 minutes last I tried to get matchmaking done and I got people from the south-eastern corner of Europe, eeeh.

But you're getting matches. I got no one when trying for 30+ minutes.

Naughty Dog posted full patch notes here. Some highlights are:

• Plunder mode is back in.
• No Power Plays after 40 kills have been reached
• Minimum time between Power plays increased from 30 sec to 60 sec.
• Can't stack up kickback medals when your kickback is already available
• Uncharted TV can be turned off (good for people with bandwidth caps or people like me trying to avoid trailers)
• Icon notification when your buddy wants to high five (don't leave me hanging!)

I think it's fun seeing them patch the beta and the thought processes they're going through to make the game better. It makes me feel like I'm contributing to a game I'm really looking forward to :)
