So I got my dirty hands on Uncharted 3 today and the game starts with a spinning ring i the bottom right corner (like the dagger in Uncharted 2) and nothing happens. I even left the PS3 on for a couple of hours to see if it was a monster install but I read that the game doesn't even install. I tried again after I updated the console and freed up some space, just in case, and nothing, the goddamn ring is still spinning. Maybe I should hold of until the game is actually released but I'm at a loss here. Ideas?

Nah, I got an early copy too, and I already beat the game. There might be something wrong with your PS3 or the DVD itself.

Sometimes I still call it a CD

So I cleaned the disc (didn't seem to need it, just tried) and it did the trick, seemed kinda weird. Can't play multiplayer as it freezes constantly. Seemed like the same problem people had with the beta, hopefully a patch will fix it though. @Video_Game_King: Thank you for making laugh sir.

I'm having the same problem, I just assumed it was a bad save file as the game completely bugged out right before it happened to me. I tried reloading the save file and it just kept spinning and spinning with no music. Seems really odd. I do want to clarify that this happened for the first time in the Chateau level. Up until that point the game ran just fine.
