I have been considering purchasing this game but I was just wondering what makes it awesome? It seems like it got okay reviews but the people that do like this game REALLY like this game. So my question is why?

• Satisfying story
• Excellent graphics
• Great action/adventure gameplay
• Kind of like Indiana Jones: The Video Game. To clarify, I mean Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Video Game, not Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: The Video Game
• Awesome plot twist towards the end of the game
• Trophies
• Cool music

The acting is top notch too.  As well as the animations.  Also the enemy AI is crazy.

It's a beautiful game, with excellent gameplay, story, and acting, it's also very enjoyable, and can be pretty challenging at some parts. A must own if you have a PS3, imo.

Probably my favorite part of the game was just how well animated it was and how good the acting was.

I'm all about immersion, vibrant color design, exotic locations, top notch acting and an interesting story, which Drake's Fortune has. Though, be very aware that you get a lot of action in the form of shooting, while puzzles and platforming are secondary features of the package.

it just does everything really well. the shooting is very satisfying, has great enemy AI for a 3rd person shooter. cutscenes are well acted and directed.

I don't think it really is that great...it does a lot of things well, but one of the key features (shooting) is done horribly in my opinion. I think the shooting in this game is awful, but the story and presentation are fantastic. I think it's a must-play, but not a must-buy. I honestly can't think of any reason I would ever want to play through the game again...and no, trophies aren't going to do it for me.

The game was a bit short, but maybe that was because I just could not take my hands off of it. I feel this is one of those games I will be showing my friends for quite some time. Definitely pick this one up and work for the trophies.

I played it once and it was basically Indiana Jones and the emperors tomb. Except you can drop kick people to the dome. Seriously though, just get LAIR. Best PS3 game. Dope.

like Heavenly Sword, its kinda like playing a big budget hollywood movie, the protagonist is pretty kick ass as he is an every man really and as previous people have said the animation and story are really good. Also recommend Heavenly Sword, is same price now and just as good.

It looks AMAZING,  like graphical pornography ( not the soul caliber kind).
