Goodbye Lara
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is one of the most fun singleplayer experiences I've had in many many years, and Naughty Dog has just polished the heck out of the game in just about every aspect, it looks gorgeous, it plays like a dream. The story is not the most original, but the way its told makes if far more effective than anything this genre in games has ever seen before, it blows Tomb Raider clear out of the water, and a big part of that is because they have managed to create some characters here that are simply instant classics. It feels fresh, it feels new, yet its only doing whats done before, very right.
