    History

Unknown Identity was the name given to a group of three Czech contractors who helped Future Games develop The Black Mirror and NiBiRu: Age of Secrets. Their company logo was added to the game boxes in addition to Future Games. This led to some confusion on the behalf of players, journalists and other entities covering video games. Unknown Identity was often credited as the developer and Future Games as the producer, this even bled into the game manual for the French edition of The Black Mirror. This was problematic for Future Games as they were not being credited for their game and journalists were often suspicious when Future Games explained the nature of the two entities relationship. In an effort to eliminate the confusion Unknown Identity merged with Future Games and the Unknown Identity logo was removed from future games. Making things slightly more interesting, Unknown Identity never held any legal status as a company.
