Unreal Tournament 3

Unreal Tournament III is a fast-paced arena-based shooter, introducing the world to Unreal Engine 3 while including a story-based single-player campaign that mixes the Liandri Tournament with all-out war.

Objects

Lightning

Often used as either a weapon or in a weapon and also used often times as a weather effect, lightning is seen in several games. Called "thunder" in some games, even though thunder is the sound that lightning makes.
Machine Gun

Machine guns, generally, are heavier weapons with a rapid rate of fire. To quote the Quake manual, they "eat ammo like popcorn."
Manta

A fast moving hovercraft, which shoots plasma projectiles
Nemesis

The Nemesis is the Necris battle tank with a mobile energy turret, which can switch position between two heights.
Nightshade

A cloakable stealth support vehicle for the Necris. Functions as a minelayer.
Nuclear Bomb

A nuclear bomb is a device made up of fissionable materials (ie Uranium) and standard explosives. It creates a nuclear chain reaction, which release large amounts of radiation and a shockwave.
Paladin

An infantry support tank with a powerful cannon and shield, from Unreal Tournament 3.
Pistol

A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
Plasma Cell

This is a specific ammunition for plasma weapons, when they don't contain internal ammo.
Pulse Gun

Gun from the unreal series of games. Fires either plasma pulse charges, or a plasma stream.
Radio

Small portable audio device originally known as a "wireless", that receives signal from a radio tower. May emit static when monsters are nearby, or emit voices when a talk show host is on.
Railgun

Railguns fire a conductive, non-propellant-based projectile to incredible speeds. Railguns are invariably some of the most powerful weapons in gaming.
Raptor

A deadly flying vehicle from the Unreal Tournament series.
Redeemer

The most powerful weapon in the Liandri Tournament, this rare monstrosity fires a thermonuclear missile. Primary fire mode is a fire-and-forget dumbfire, while alt-fire puts the user in direct control of the warhead.
Rocket

An explosive ordinance propelled by a chemical reaction that causes a controlled explosion resulting in thrust. Rockets are usually "dumb" weapons, meaning that they are not guided.
Rocket Launcher

A weapon that launches rockets.
Scavenger

An sphere-like veicle that moves with a set of tentacles.
Scorpion

A light assault buggy with blades that unfold from the front of the vehicle.
Severed Limbs

Severed limbs are objects in video games that fall off of characters, often from explosions, gunshots,and melee weapons.
Sniper Rifle

The weapon of choice for accuracy at long distances. The sniper rifle's slow rate of fire makes it ineffective for close range combat, but its high calibre round ensures that it inflicts maximum damage against the target.
Spider Mines

A Spider Mine is a anti-personnel device with robotic spider-legs.
StealthBender

Building on the chassis of the HellBender, the StealthBender is a cloakable minelayer, with a few support abilities as well.
Stinger Minigun

The Stinger Minigun is powered by Tarydium crystal. It provides a fast rate of fire and great accuracy.
Submachine Gun

A firearm capable of firing pistol ammunition automatically. Favored for shorter distances, or dealing death indoors.
Tank

A tank is generally a heavily armoured and armed, tracked vehicle designed to be at the front of a combined forces attack.
Translocator

Used in the Unreal Tournament series of games. Shoot out the Receiver and you can teleport to it.
Trident Rocket Launcher

This is the rocket launcher from UT 2003 and further UTs
Viper

A Necris fast-moving hovercraft-like vehicle

Unreal Tournament 3 is a competent Xbox 360 shooter that can be exciting and very fast-paced, but it occasionally feels like some kind of creepy history lesson on the way games used to be.
