as much as I dislike supporting gamestop I couldn't pass this up for $30.  I actually had to call 4 stores to find one with a copy.  Anyone else throw down on this deal?

I did. And i felt like i was taking a chance but now i see that this game was one of the best games of 2008.  damn good game.

I picked it up for $30 as well...I almost feel compelled to grab a few more copies to give away just to add a few more sales to the game and show more people the awesomeness that is Valkyria Chronicles! It's quite sad when a game as good as VC doesn't sell at all.

I almost bought it, but I don't have a PS3. I need a PS3 for this game. I want to play with Vyse and Aika again. ;__;

Totally worth it

Man I picked this game up the week it was released. I waited for this game, and it is the best PS3 game I have played. However I wont lie and say sometimes I get a little frustrated with the difficulty.

I would like to get it...but I don't have $30 at the moment. I need to get it quickly!

Valkyria Chronicles is easily one of the best games this gen. 

Is it made by the same people who made Skies of Arcadia ?

I really want a PS3 for this, Resistance 2 and the new Disgaea.

I got it too, it great but im stuck on the tank level.

I got it a few months ago but I'd say it's a great game.  Sometimes I get really pissed because of the randomness of big hit items like lancers or sniper fire, hit detection can also be annoying (lots of bounding boxes on objects that are way too big).  I like the game way more than I expected to (even the demo didn't sell me), so I suggest people pick this up!
