Other games. They are my pawns in a bigger game.

Video facial hair clearly wins. Cut your potato on those edges.

He has taught me many things. I consider him a friend.

Having recently played through the game I found it great. The story was  interesting unlike being a person fighting against Vampires you become one in the opening moments of the game something relatively unprecedented. Also the combat was fun and the powers were interesting. Worth playing if you have any love for Rpgs and don't mind playing things with old graphics. I highly recommend it.

You should write a review. My 4.99 is important to me.

Some facial hair is harder to tame than others, you may need this where you're going.

After months of cultivating my beard, I think it's time I busted out the trimmer. Son of a bitchin' thing is getting painful.

You are a Malkavian vampire, aren't you? That would explain a lot...

I trim my beard. But I do get bored with it and shave it from time to time. I can grow a full beard in five weeks, so it's all good.

I had never played Vampire The Masquerade before, so I went with Clan Toreador to start. I read it was a good starting clan. The game is pretty damn good.

Good, first playthrough isn't good with Malkavian, it would just confuse you, they can predict the future and talk to objects like stop signs and TVs.
#28 Posted by Claude (16254 posts) -

@CL60: Yeah, when I bought the game a couple of days ago, I started researching. It was either the Brujah or Toreador. The Toreador seemed more interesting so I went with that.

#29 Posted by Jaqen_HGhar (898 posts) -

@Claude: CL60 is right, Malkavian is awesome on a second playthrough though. My first playthrough was with Tremere. Love that blood magic. It is also fun to play as a Nosferatu, as the game changes a lot due to the fact that you have to hide from humans.

I can't get the unofficial patch running and the game sounds so good, GAH!

#36 Posted by CaptainTightPants (2834 posts) -

So does the Plus version of the patch change  a lot?  I was going to use the basic version but I just went with the plus for my first playthrough.

Maybe there's something on this board that might help. I have XP and it runs fine.

I'm using the basic patch. From my research about the game, the Plus Version seems to be more for a second playthrough.

Good purchase. And I also recommend doing 2nd playthrough as Malkavian - it's hilarious.

So I've heard, will do. I'm about 8 hours into my first ever playthrough. Cool characters and some pretty crazy story lines.

#44 Posted by Brians (1463 posts) -
@Claude: What race are you Claude? I was Ventrue kinda hard fighting wise but fun late level powers.
#45 Posted by Claude (16254 posts) -

@Briguile: After some research, I decided the Toreador were my best fit for my first playthrough. I got me a couple of honeys at the Asylum that taste real good. I'm so seductive.

#46 Posted by Snipzor (3317 posts) -

Ugh, makes me quite sad I haven't got a laptop to play it on. Perhaps tomorrow I'll commence my 4th playthrough, but this one I'll actually finish. Totally gonna go Malkavian! Because that's what logic dictates!

#47 Posted by Brians (1463 posts) -

One Fight in that game irked me... A certain Sniper who teleports after 2 hits.

Hey Snipzor, wow, fourth playthrough. You must love the blood of the innocent.

That's actually related to the motto I've got. "Fear not the blood of the innocents if they need be spilled, they've probably thought you were funny lookin' so they deserved getting stabbed in the face to which you'd then drink their blood with a smile on your face. Ignore the cops who question your actions, they're just haters.". It's even on a plaque, well, only the first two words. I didn't know they would be that small. So I put a citation at the end. Don't think anybody bothered to look it up.
