Vanilla's personality is completely determined by the player in Steambot Chronicles. There are two paths for him to take in the game; the traditional "good" and "evil" paths when the game gives you a major choice on who to side with. However, within those are three main personality choices that are almost always present during any major dialogue event. These choices usually make Vanilla out to be either a nice guy, a not-so-nice guy, or a greedy guy who always thinks about money and/or food. This means that the player can choose from many potential combinations, including a greedy guy who has chosen the "good" path of the game, or even a not-so-bad guy who has chosen the "evil" path of the game. He is very musically talented able to play the Harmonica, Violin, Piano, guitar and many more instruments.
