Just like her twin brother Juno, Vela is also a member of the Gemini Squadron and shares her brother's frustrations at the Federation for not taking action against the dreaded Mizar. Her parents both killed by space pirates she works to and bring down a threat that her government deems harmless. She has a very short temper and is determined to show that females should be treated equally as the men in the army. In the game Vela is able to swim underwater without ever having to surface.
