3DS Footage Kind Of In 3D!

That was pretty close to good stereoscopic 3D.  I think the separation is a tad high, stuff close to the front plane still doubled.  Definitely worth pursuing though, it never even occurred to me that if you could get two separate feeds out of a 3DS you could recombine them into anaglyphic

How about a cross eyed version.

It works!  But looks like crap!  ...yay?

A ColorCode 3D version (amber/blue) would be awesome!

Can you make one with the left and right images side-by-side (with the left eye image on the right, and the right eye image on the left) so I can cross my eyes and watch it in 3d please?

I just remembered my copy of Coraline on blu-ray has some 3D glasses in it. Yay! 
 
Edit: This is terrible.

Make it red/green and you've got a deal. Red/Green glasses came with Coralline and Monsters vs. Aliens.

It was too deep. I couldn't focus that far away.    

I don't know if you guys plan on doing this for every game but Imo 3DS footage should be taken in plain 2d, I don't give a crap about 3D, and since you can just simply turn it off always I think  it's safe to say it'll be just a stupid gimmick, which is what 3D is, I would rather view the game on it's natural colors.

I was using some paper red and blues and it kind of worked, but man my eyes are having a hell of a time readjusting.

it works... but      that game in this type of 3d, with all its super twitchy background tracks is unconfortable too look at, first time 3d made me feel bad.   the 3d options some youtube clips has works, if you havent already you should take a look at that.

Haha... Yeah that was certainly interesting to say the least. But yeah it sort of works, I guess it's the perspective that's throwing off the red and blue?!

I need some shrooms to go with this stuff.

Don't have red and blue glasses. I do have a pair of the polarized ones I stole from a movie theater though...

Luckily I bought a pair of Red and Blue's when I got the Polynomial!!
 
The video seems to work fine, but the Red/Blue 3D does make things look darker and muddier, but I suppose that's glasses-3D for ya. You guys should start selling GB branded 3D glasses.

I tested this on both my red/blue and my red/green glasses. 
 
It doesn't look right, the second half instead of popping out, tilts to the side doubling the image (side by side). The background kinda has a 3d look but everything else just doubles to the left and right instead of popping out.

Only glasses I have is the ones that movie theaters give you...
 
Real-D? Forget.

Doesn't really work for me, although my 3D glasses aren't actually red/blue, they're pink/green.

They can do that... if you don't mind buying a new expensive polarized 3d monitor. Those glasses don't work on normal monitors. They could do side by side the way youtube does though and let people decide for themselves.  http://www.youtube.com/user/3D "

Is there a way that users with 3DS can download the video format so they can view them as they were intended to be on their handheld? 

Sort of works? I have an nVidia 3D Vision, would Giant Bomb mind uploading this in LeftRight frame mode? That's much better 3D for me.

You might as well just put the videos side by side and have people do the cross-eyed stereoscopic 3D thingy.

Well I watched it without 3D glasses and I almost threw up...So I guess it works?  But seriously the 3D on the 3DS is actually entertaining.  I don't know that I'd play all my games in 3D all the time, but it was a pleasurable experience.

Is the sound stream also in some multi-channel 5.1?

Tried it with the glasses.  Impressed that it sort of worked even though the two images weren't aligned all the way.
