i wonder if co op will just be the challenge rooms or if it'll add some kinda separate story to it. either way, pretty cool, i'm excited for it.

I've done this trick in single player Portal 1. It's REALLY hard to pull a shot off while you're constantly falling through the ceiling.

Co-op has you going through completely different rooms that are designed around using 4 portals instead of 2.

This is #1 on my games to play list.
 
I'll have to play co-op with a friend and with voice chat thru Steam.  I can't imagine co-op puzzle solving any other way.

I think they approached this sequel with a great mindset.  People told them they wanted "more Portal".  Rather then pushing out just a bunch of Portal puzzles with a new plot, they decided people wanted more "suprises and mind-bending scenarios" like in Portal.  That's why they added co-op and all those different gels.
