Audio not in Sync and why create another Burnout Paradise? Seems to me like NFS switched spots with BLUR so Bizarre did something really Bizarre and NFS seems like it's going to own it ... bad call

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. There's nothing about this game that screams "Burnout Paradise" to me other than it has 1) cars and 2) fast cars. The rest of the game seems drastically different from the weapons to the art style.

I assume your second sentence is trying to say that Blur is the "next" Need For Speed? Maybe. But again, no weapons in NFS. I dunno why NFS will "own it." The NFS series has sucked for a long time. IF this happens, it'll be way out of left field.

Bizarre has been making odd games for years, their last -- The Club -- was about as random as you can get from a developer of their quality...fun in short bursts, but just a rental. I'm actually hoping this game will be good. Early impressions be damned.

This game is NOTHING like Burnout.... If anything it looks like a Midnight Club rip-off with almost the EXACT same power-ups

The video is actually fine, when it was uploaded here, the audio didn't sync properly. This sorta thing happens all the time on Youtube.

That's what I was thinking when I first heard about Blur. Midnight Club remake, but I'm a racing aficionado, so I will probably pick this up just because I love racing games so much.

i'm with ryan d on this. blur doesn't deliver in my opinion. split second looks far more promising. eventhough bizare has more experience in racegames.

So what if he sounds like he's from liverpool? There are far worse accents, (not gna say which imo). But it doesn't look phenominal;
20 cars - good
powerups - good if done correctly (and usually work in cartoony style racers, ie the crash bandicoot racing ones)
And is it just me or was that it? It just doesn't deliver. Should be 'PLAY ME!', but it says well nothing.
