I really want to watch this, but I also really don't want to. I already know I'm getting this game day 1, no need to spoil anything. But... 35 minutes... of gameplay....... I am going to watch this, aren't I?

As a Welshman, I find endless amusement in The Witcher 2 (and as evidenced by this video, The Witcher 3) being rammed full of my homeland's various regional accents. It's one of the extremely few series I've played that has any at all.

Never played a Witcher game before, but this looks like a must get!

Does anyone know if there are story spoilers from past games? I've got them loaded up, just haven't found the time to dig in yet. No one tell me if the Witcher survives the first game, I wanna be surprised!

Yes they are. I want the choices to actual have consequences. I don't want it to be like Skyrim where you can do pretty much everything yet none of it means a thing.

Not at all what I was talking about. The split for chapter 2 in Witcher 2 was perfect, but that doesn't sound like simply picking time limited quests in a quest hub of the game.

That actually leads to something else all together though. Given the vastly different endings you can have in Witcher 2 in terms of the geopolitics of the north, how is that actually going to be reflected in 3?

@jonny_anonymous: This is why I enjoy the Witcher games so much, actual consequences to decisions that meaningfully affect the story/quests. This also results in much better writing/storytelling since some actual thought has to go into it. Just like you mentioned games like Skyrim (or recent Bioware games) have a bunch of lazy quests that do nothing or very little to help make an unique and interesting story.
