I'm happy that GiantBomb made it into the official trailer, because lets be honest, that quicklook is the reason many of us will be buying this game. :P

I like how both Greg holding junk while dubstepping and Jeff holding I imagine beer while kungfu-ing made it in.

From a marketing perspective, it works on both ends... you cater to the casual gamer with the proven formula of putting "party" in the title. Then on the other side, "core gamers" (as marketers like to put it) who already know who Double Fine are will follow what they're doing. Those gamers also likely understand that it's a sequel to Happy Action Theater, and if they enjoyed that, they would probably buy this, regardless of how bland the title is.

If you own the first game, the system will detect that and import them into this game. At least that's what they said during the Quick Look.

Happy Action Theater is the only Kinect game we still play. Definitely getting this.

First half = Radiohead + Polysics

They probably weren't going to anyway, since it's well known they're great friends with Double Fine. But if that wasn't enough, this likely would have.

I think I'm gonna have to go watch that quick look again. It's got to be one of if not the best quicklook of 2012.

Alright, using the Giant Bomb footage in the official trailer is one of the best things these guys have done, and their games are all pretty cool so far anyway. High fives all around.

I want to believe so hard that this is the actual commercial for this because it has the epic dubstep routine the crew did in the quick look. Man that shit was fun, I'm totally buying this game for that alone!

As much as I loved that giant bomb dubstep session that they put in the trailer, the thing that really sold me on double fine in this video - was this;

They did not use immaculate supermodels with stupid cheesy blank grins on their faces, they used - wait for it - "REAL PEOPLE"

love at :54 - the lady shepherding a kid into frame "you'll love this! go play with the others!"

The dubstep part in the QL where Ryan sounds like hes almost overcome with laughter and joy makes me smile. Its those sorts of moments in games I hope never leave us.

Man the dupstep mode is reason enough to buy this game

Kids playing Kinect, more kids playing Kinect, Jeff drinking a beer...

That just blew my mind.

Uh, isn't it public record that Microsoft paid Double Fine a significant sum of money to put the word "Kinect" in the title of the game? I seem to recall some Double Fine guys (probably Chris Remo, I don't remember) talking about having to scramble to create new booth signage for PAX because the branding deal with Microsoft went through like the day before the show.

I have seen some of those people in this trailer on the internet before. I don't remember where though.
