Alex seemed so bummed to be back. It's like that nightmarish dream you have of being dragged back to a dark, scary place you were once so euphoric to break free of.

Totally agree with this post. But with all the complaints of lack of subscriber content, keep in mind that Vinny just had a kid, Dave has been busy with his own personal life and has been working with Alexis and the other engineers on making the new site. With E3 coming up and the planning it takes everyone is going to be busy, so a lack of content for the past 3 weeks or so can be expected.

I think we all have to remember that GB is still a fairly small team, even if they have the monetary backing of CBS. It may be an excuse to bring all this things up, but they are still delivering on the content they should be delivering on which are the TNTs, Quick Looks, and the Bombcast.

I need me a slice of Caro.

Holy flashback... seriously, it is amazing to see all of the ol' GameSpot offices and people again. I mean, I still feel that GameSpot content isn't what it used to be, however, I am pleasantly surprised to see everyone. It really brings back good memories!

Please don't use the phone for shooting videos, it's shaky and blurry as hell and now I got a headache for watching this. :-/

There was something really sweet and endearing about Alex and Justin man hugging, I was like "aww, you guys!"

Also how can you get so close to Homer and NOT put him on camera, damn you Jeff!

@RedRoach: Totally true. I do think that they'll end up with a bunch of random stuff anyway- and if they worked with Gamespot- things could work out quite nicely. Pipe dream for sure- but isn't that a part of Giant Bomb tradition? The ability to dream way out- and to be way in at the same time.

I don't know about that new site. With the enormous search bar and everything. Shit looks like mobile, which is the same problem I had with Gamespot's most recent design.

Anyway, there is 25-cent Illy in that machine. I want to work there.

I know the current GameSpot crew has good folks on the team, and that they aren't the guys who fired Jeff and made the whole dilemma, but their output is still fanboy-driven ancient fucking dogshit, so it does kind of unnerve me to see them in a Giant Bomb video. Especially when they're new, disposable employee Bob McBobson and not longtime associate Giancarlo Varanini. However friendly they are doesn't take away from poor gaming journalism.

Whatever, it's not worth getting in a real huff about, just worth mentioning.

I have nothing to say about Tuesdays, but that elongated office tour was pretty neat.

I spent more time watching the Persona 4 slide show on Vinny's monitor than listening to what him and Jeff were talking about.
