After barely making it through the wine cellar in the first game I don't know if I can stomach even attempting this one. Looks amazing though and I know I'll still end up giving in to try it.

While excited for this, I hope Frictonal is developing a newer engine in the background for a proper sequel.

I gifted Amnesia to 5 people on Steam just to hear them scream over Skype. TeeHee.

I'm still getting a heavy Nine Inch Nails vibe from this game. I don't know if it's the "A Machine for Pigs" subtitle, the piano chords that sound like they're straight out of the quieter moments of "March of the Pigs," or both.

Having just played through Dark Descent, I'm both really interested in playing this as well as freaked thinking "maybe I'm better off having not."

As one of the few who have beaten Amnesia multiple times, I cannot wait to play this. It's scary at first but I got used to it after a while.

I hate this trailer, and love it... and hate it... but then I love it.

They're developing a new engine for a new game, but it won't be an Amnesia sequel, or from the sounds of it even a pure horror game.

I am really glad they made a trailer for me to associate with that name.

If pigs are a recurring monster theme in this game, that's going to kill a lot of the fear for me. Pig noises are the opposite of frightening.

Amnesia looks horrifying, lol. I played the game once, and after about 30 minutes had to stop. I wasn't too freaked out to keep playing, though maybe it would have got to that point eventually; I just hated the idea that I had no way to defend myself! Couldn't deal with the vulnerability -__-

I kind of love the noises pigs make (I know, very fucked up) so this game might be a tad more playable to me. On the other hand the game might contextualize those adorable squeals in a way that makes will make me hate/fear something I love!

Any plans for a console release of the original?
