This looks cool, but I can't take anymore of BioShock's sub-par FPS gameplay.

Well I'm excited... Loving the noir feel.

Edited by vikingdeath1

Hopefully Booker realizes that he's hitting on his daughter at some point in the game.

It's actually just a noir remake of Oldboy.

Was anybody else disappointed that Elizabeth went to shithole Rapture at the end of Infinite instead of a Rapture where people lived in relative comfort?

Edited by kennybaese

I really need to go buy Bioshock Infinite.

Looks damn good, I'm hoping that all the dlc to be released won't be overlooked during the console releases; that is if irrational doesn't finish all the dlc after november.

Edited by TheSouthernDandy

This is so exactly what I want and I didn't know it till now. Nice work Irrational.

Not what I was expecting at all, but it does sound interesting,

Posted by EvilNiGHTS

Anyone getting an Audrey Horne vibe from Elizabeth there?

Posted by alexthebehemoth

Dec. 31st, 1958 was the date of the NYE party battle that kicked off the Rapture Civil War. This should be interesting.

Bioshock Noire, huh? Sounds pretty great.

Posted by Jeffsekai

Interesting.

Edited by Dberg

I'm not playing a minute more in Rapture.

Posted by Derios

Ah goddamn this is exactly what i want

Couldn't tell if that was Courtnee Draper as Elizabeth in the teaser; since she gave up acting to attend law school. I guess it's possible they could have recorded it along with the main game, but either way, it looks great.

I was wondering what they'd do to recapture my interest, but didn't say anything because I didn't want to put it past them. Good thing too, I'd be eating crow.

That's not an "official" declaration. She could have still done it if they called her and asked her to.

Ok, done, sold. You win Ken Levine. Take my money.

Edited by ZatoJawed

This wasn't at all what I expected, but that doesn't mean I'm not SUPER excited.

Edit - Also, I'm probably one of the only people who actually thinks clash in clouds looks good cause I actually enjoyed Infinite's Combat a lot.

Off topic, but i just bought the season pass (On PC) and I know it gives you skins for some guns in game, yet I'm getting nothing in game telling me the stuff is unlocked. Am I missing something?

Or isn't.

In that Kotaku page, the comments make it look like 75% of the people who played Bioshock really didn't get the ending. The ending made it so that an infinite amount of possibilities can happen. Booker could be a plate of warm custard in some reality. The fact that they are father and daughter is not a constant that has to be met.

Just the fact that this takes place in rapture during a different times period makes these two characters fundamentally different from the characters in the original game.

YaA yay YAYAYAYAYAYYAY I've been wanting more Bioshock

what would you class as above par FPS gamesplay. whats your gold standard.

because as someone who has been playing FPS's since Doom id put infinites gameplay up with the best of them. great gun selection, cool powers to mix thing up and great environments

Yea, this looks sweet.

I'm down for some Bioshock Oldboy, but only if we get to see both types of incest.

BOOKER CATCH!

Posted by firecracker22

I'd throw my money at it....except I already have. Looks interesting.

Edited by megalowho

Unexpected but looks really promising. Seeing the fall of Rapture through the hard boiled eyes of the Columbia duo is an inspired side story for this series, considering how Infinite wrapped up. I expect more mindfucks.

YeeeEEEEEESSSSS

Looks like a decent amount of effort's gone into it. Can't stand half-baked DLC.

Now this is more like it!

Now this, this looks cool.

Posted by Lydian_Sel

I am so fucking down for this!!!

Posted by MilesElrich

@jazgalaxy: And the interesting thing is that since they basically spelled out that the little sisters were Elizabeth and that Jack was Booker so on and so forth, the fact that the game takes place in a Rapture of some kind means either a universe where Jack doesn't show up or something else is going on.

Edited by Colourful_Hippie

That's what I'm looking for

Can someone explain this sentiment to me? I've played nearly every modern FPS (Modern Warfare, Battlefield, Halo, Counter-Strike: GO, etc) and Bioshock infinite's shooting is just as fun, if not more so because of the vigors.

Now, if you're talking Bioshock 1, yes I agree. Infinite is leaps and bounds better mechanically though.
