Hopefully they will be able to keep adding DLC Mass-effect style. I'm playing through the first game and really appreciating their attempts to flesh out things.

God I hated that room in DS2. 

I've played through Dead Space 2 and I'm having a hard time remembering anything significant happening in that room. I mean, I remembered  the area itself cause it looks fairly unique compared to other areas but did I miss out on something there when I played through it?

Getting this day one for sure, even if it doesn't add anything super unique, it's still more Dead Space 2.
I'm just banging my head against Hardcore mode now.

This looks kind of disappointing. Less of a new story and rather just more Dead Space 2, really...
 
Even as someone who doesn't play Dead Space, but appreciates the franchise wholly, I was interested how they might weave another story around that of Isaac's in DS2. But now that they've shown it... it's all just recycled content. I mean, slightly modified armor, DS2 single and mulitplayer map locations, Isaac-sounding voice actor, the hanging upside down mechanic (exactly the same animations leading into it, as well), and not even any new weapons... for $7. 
 
If I owned Dead Space 2, I would pass this up. As much as I believed in the team to produce something cool and original for DLC, just look at that list! I mean, it just all looks like a rush job copy and paste. =\

IIRC he said the exact same thing about one of the ME2 DLC when they did a look on that. He seems to be all about the weapons.

Neat to see more of Dead Space2, I think it'd be quite interesting on how this crosses paths with Issac in DS2 though I wonder if this DLC ends when you cross paths with Issac during one of those times where you are just blasting everyone ever nearby with the line gun.

Love me some Dead Space. So more Dead Space is great.
