Is the video acting really weird for anyone else? It keep slowing down and then speeding up for me.

So hyped for this.

Sad to see one of my favorite series come to and end but excited to see how it all ends at the same time.

cool, looking forward to this. gears usually satisfies my shooter itch for a year or two.

That level was a little on the brown side but I have faith that later levels will look a lot better in terms of lighting and colour.

I'm not going to rush out and buy this until I'm done with my backlog, but it looks like a quality shooter nonetheless.

I have rarely had as much fun as I did with the co-op play with a friend in Gears of War. Ready for this.

Really likeable characters, just one thing that makes this look like a great game to me.

Can't wait to see this game's "THEY'RE SINKING CITIES WITH A GIANT WORM" moment. Also Carmine had a ton of close calls during that video.

Yeah, the campaign (god, I hate that term) looks good and all, but I wanna see some Horde mode. Dunno what it is about Horde that I love so much, especially since I single-player it, but that's what has me so excited about this game.  
 
Also, a hearty ell oh ell at people acting surprised that it "looks like Gears". Because we were all expecting a Peggle clone, yeah?

I wonder if EPIC had to go to children playgrounds, in order to create these lifelike environments.

Often imitated, never duplicated: Gears of War. Looking forward to it. It's hard to believe those graphics came out of a 360.

I didn't care about Gears 1; I didn't care about Gears 2. I kind of want to buy Gears 3 on day one, though. It looks really good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the multiplayer beta.

Anyone else noticed that every time the GB crew tries to compliment good graphics their go-to phrase is "there's some good lighting" ? :P

I'm still gonna wait for reviews on this game cause I got burnt out on gears 2 about half way in. Game is looking good but don't know if its gonna switch it up enough to give me anything I haven't already experienced in gears 1&2.

Your right, you should have a giant magnet on your ass that just attracts it up.

Your not nit picking, your just not getting the style of the game. I actually really like that about Gears.

There's no way this is the last Gears of War...I wouldn't mind seeing a little different structure...maybe a game set during the Pendulum Wars or something...

looks pretty good, although trying to talk up the storytelling is a lost cause IMO, the series has all the subtlety of a B-grade action movie, in fact I think B-grade is what it aspires to be

There's something about 10 minutes of firefight, a power loader, negotiating with a mad max village, alien tentacle monsters spitting out babies that know how to use cover, and most conspicuously, helicopter drop off and evac just to scrounge up one crate of food that does not sit right with me.

No matter how many times that I think about it.

Are they just really tired of having to come up with convincing sci-fi Macguffins for video game stages? I don't get it. Or is this sort of thing the ordinary Gears storyline experience?

Watching the Gears 2 and then Gears 3 videos, you can really see a jump in video quality.
