Ask Me Anything: Halo: Reach

As somebody who doesn't care for Halo, hasn't played one since the first game, & dislikes big multiplayer focused first person shooters I can confidently say that this looks amazing & I'm actually excited to see more of it.

Halo finally catches up to where PC games were at ~10 years ago. Thank God. Can't wait to see the tards who can't play anything other than generic deathmatch RAGE.

Some neat additions, but it's still Halo and Halo's multiplayer as gotten somewhat old quickly for me.

The scoped pistol is the best weapon in Halo history.  Just look at every single high level free for all deathmatch tournament video from the first game.  It's all anyone uses.

Looks like I'll have to buy me a copy of ODST. Can't be too expensive these days.

Halo haters are so annoying. "Same old crap with dirtier helmets," "Finally caught up to PC games from 10 years ago, eh?" Halo is a CONSOLE shooter! Designed and paced to be played on a console controller. Some people don't like the more methodical pace of the series compared to Bad Company or Modern Warfare, that's fine, but there's people like me who actually prefer it. No other FPS series, console or otherwise, has come close to providing the variety of gameplay that Halo's multiplayer does.  

Can't wait for this to drop next week! I love how Drew just knows to drop down that crevice for the power weapon, a true Halo player.

Wow, this is looking extremely sharp. Convinced to get another copy of ODST to play the beta.

The halo design is so completely boring, this looks like a f2p title imho :/

ya can say anything about halo... but halo is a very unique and good first person shooter on consoles

Soooo, is GB gonna be releasing codes? I think they are, but they didn't mention it in the video.

That hater was just plain lazy.  It's obvious he just looked at the play screen and saw the helmet.  Fail.    "

This game might be enough for me to care about halo again. In any case, I will probably play the beta at a friend's house and see for myself.

Only way to get into the beta is via ODST. Or if you were a big Halo 2 player they sent some out for those who were still playing at the start of this year. Also I believe Bungie have been given out codes to their family/friends for early access starting Friday.  But other than that, there's no way in. sites won't be given out codes.  Only sure fire way is to buy ODST. "

Headhunter there, with the skull collecting/delivering and numbers over the head is straight out of Unreal Tournament 3.

maybe I haven't played Halo games in a long while - but this game, graphically, looks really great. 

Ugh, only reason I'm watching this is for the quest.
