Fuck open world. I'm so sick of that being used in Spider-man games. It hasn't helped the last couple of them. I'd rather have something tightly structured with good gameplay and a nice comic book story to go along with that.  "

EDIT: This whole game except noir seems boring.

They brought me back in with symbiote Spidey.  They're just re-using assets from Web of Shadows, but I loved that game,

Looks pretty freaking awesome, might be the first Spidey game I actually buy.

I'm excited for the game but I worry that as a fairly big spider-man comic book fan it'll touch too many nerves and feel more like they've taken artistic license with everything to try and appeal to the masses.

I'm extremely disappointed because they are not releasing a PC version of this game. Since I don't have a PS3 or 360, I'll have to settle for the Wii version... 
 
... yeah. And I don't even like Spider-Man or Marvel. The games are great, though.

Gameplay looks pretty similar for all of them, but it seems kinda cool.

Only interested in Noir and Miggy. I would by a 2099 game just to play as Miggy.

looks great! dunno what ruan'as talkin about, the only familiar thing about the amazing spidey part was the web zip to enemy. all that other shit was nuuuuuuuuts. but the black suit combat did look very similar to the black suit combat in wos.

Day one purchase for me. 

Great, a spider-man game about combat. Not like there isn't enough of those around. Personally, I share Yahtzee's opinion on the matter and think that Spider-Man should be about the traversal, not the combat. I have no interest in running around and mashing on buttons because that doesn't sound like compelling gameplay to me.

Flip Spider-man, Deadpool!

I followed the Spider-Man Noir series and can confirm that it features an alternate history version of Pete as Spider-Man. It is not a portrayal of the Marvel U in the past but a completely separate universe where apparently none of the other Marvel Heroes exist. It also has alternate, more realistic versions of several other characters from the comic including Kraven as a Russian drunkard, the Chameleon as a circus freak, Vulture (who was indeed the guy who jumped Noir-Spidey in this video) as a cannibal, Aunt May as an active communist, Norman Osborn as something I don't want to spoil and JJ Jameson exactly as he appears in Amazing Spider-Man except his mustache and Tayloristic management style suddenly make sense in the thirties setting.

I guess someone might have said some of this already but I don't feel like reading through all the comments.
