Damn straight.

Sounds a bit too patriotic to me ;p Which is weird considering it's a japanese version of a french game. I guess that makes it okay?

Anway, i'll get this as it's protagonist seems a lot more interesting than Connor, and I hear it has nothing to do with Desmond. (thank fuck)

I will buy this because it's the right thing to do, in my opinion. I like these games well enough, and I believe that supporting any effort to bring people of color, women, and themes of importance to games is something to value.

My conviction of that didn't quite rise to buying a Vita, so I'm happy I can play this now.

I pretty much agree wholeheartedly with you. So, yeah. This.

I concur with the above sentiments.

Although, I hope the combat mechanics are more AC2 style(plus it's decendant games) than AC3 as I just found the combat system in AC3 to be REALLY clunky and didn't always seem to work or simply wasn't covered by the game for me to know about them(I had to youtube search how to do some things I was having so much trouble).

Anybody else have that problem with AC3?

Yeah, brawling is still something I do not understand. I think I made sense of the rest of it, at least enough to cope. I really liked the (virtual) world of that game, so putting up with some strangeness was okay.

I've actually been really wanting to play this, as much as AC3 was so so so boring

Edit: looks Ok, hate to say it but you can definitely tell this came from a handheld, especially in the effects.

I have to admit that my AC addiction makes me OK with the annualization (is that a word?) of this franchise. I will plan on getting this...as long as Ubi is smart enough to release it before AC4. Otherwise I might be too engaged in sailing the Caribbean with Capt. Jack Sparrow Kenway and fighting off the Curse of the Black Pearl of Eden at the World's End.

This looked like the most interesting assassins creed yet, to bad they wasted the premise on a scaled down handheld game. Critics didn't seem to even care for it on the Vita, i highly doubt it will scale up and be better. Hope it's like 10 bux, but i doubt it.

You can tell the game has been "upped" just by looking at the footage which is gameplay only.

The Vita version had very bad framerate issues which, I'm sure, will be fixed here. Looking forward to this!

Did anyone else notice that Aveline's face has also been slightly changed? I'd tap that...

So I'm playing AC3 thanks to PS+. I'm 6 hours in though and I'm really not feeling it. I feel like the game is really holding me back unlike the previous games. Should I just give up or push on through. I'd like to note that I've only just reached the part where you train with the old man.

I don't own a Playstation Vita, and that's because I'm primarily an X-Box 360 gamer. I have played all of the Assassins Creed games, and I am definitely looking forward to Black Flag, because it really does look like an improvement over AC3, which I was disappointed in.

However, I heard about Liberation. When it first came out, I saw a Video review for it on Gamespot, and it looked good for a Playstation Vita game. I was disappointed it never came to the 360. Now, I finally get the chance to see what it's like to play as the only female Assassin in the series.

Needless to say, I'm pretty excited for this game, and I'm so looking forward to playing it in 2014.

Sounds like they upped the bitrate on the audio because goddamn they were ridiculously low on Vita.

I liked this game. Great characters, neat story. Performance was the biggest issue, and what turned most people off.

It's still a really solid game overshadowed by the plainness of III. Good that more people will enjoy it.

AC4 isn't coming to next gen systems, and this game is already being ported to more powerful hardware via the PS3, 360, and PC. It's not like they'd really be able to do anything more with it on next gen systems. There's really no benefit to it. It would just cost more money on a project that they don't want to spend a bunch of money on in the first place.

Same basic answer for the Wii U version, ie if it's not worth the development cost to port it over to the Wii U why bother? Alot of third parties are dropping off Wii U support as of late, so this doesn't seem all that surprising.

AC4 is most definitely coming to next gen systems. Already preordered it on Amazon.

Hopefully they upped the bitrate on their voice samples. The Vita version sounds like everybody was talking through a cell phone.

Ubisoft has said that they've re-sampled all of the audio, so hopefully that won't be an issue in this version.

I like AssCreed, but I'm done with it. Played 5 of the games in about 5 years and I didn't even really enjoy the last one anymore.

Ironically, i just finished playing this on the Vita(started it back near release but never came back to it).

AC: Liberation has, arguably, a much better story than AC3 so nice to see it getting the HD treatment. One of my favorite things about it is alternate costumes which actually change how you play the game.

Probably the best AC out there just due to the complete cut-out animus bullshit.

Just go in, play dress-up, and kill dudes.

I really enjoyed it from the bits that i played - re-installed it on my vita last night for in between those Spelunky runs.

I kinda liked this on Vita, Some of the outfit stuff was annoying, but I thought it was really cool to play AC on a handheld that wasn't one of those shitty DS or iPhone ones.

I got this game when it came packed into my white Vita. I never played it beyond an hour or two because I was playing AC3 at the time and by the time I was done with that the last thing I wanted was more AC. That said, it was a funny little game from what I played. I also liked the main character being something different than the usual AC leads.

Now, it's either wait until the Vita version is cheap and pick it up... or go for the HD version on PC. I can't imagine it'll actually play as well/look as good as we think.
