1:21 blurred Wii U controller.

Connor the first guerilla fighter? Bullshit, the Scots during and around the Battle of Dunbar(1296) they used hit and run Guerilla tactics.

Can't wait to stab some red coats in the face!

Iberians and Celtics did that against the Romans, too. It's not like "take pot shots at them and run when they see where you are" is a particularly complex military tactic in the first place.

Couldn't finish Brotherhood...meh

It's revolutionary! Oh snap!

I saw a lot of fighting redcoats there...I hope you're fighting both sides like the devs originally said.

Connor is straight up stabbing a blue coat in the video....

These videos are pretty cool, can't wait for the game to come out.

Still seems too black and white in terms of good and evil. In previous games it hasn't been about nation vs nation with one side in the right, it was about individuals on both sides working for the templar, trying to take advantage of the tumultuous situation. Maybe they will have a mission where there is a revolutionary gone bad or something but they seem to be very clearly setting the theme of all red coats are evil.

That said the gameplay looks amazing...

I wonder if this trailer was made by many people of different cultures and religions.

Hey, it's revolutionary.

Posted by king0fprussia

"revolutionary" get it?

Posted by JuggaloAcidman

"They used their weapons anyway they could"... "It was life or death". What a great weapons expert to have on staff! He's just full of useful information! You could ask him a question like what kind of weapons to give Conner and he'll give you the hard hitting answer of "stuff"! You'd get a better understanding of weapons from a book then Captain Vague over there!

Well the "language consultant" is also probably waste of resources.

@ebritt: Well the English are pretty terrible. Most of the problem areas of the world are like that in part because of English and European colonial era meddling.

Surprisingly, they outsourced to an entirely Wiccan studio.

Yeah you're right all areas of the world were at peace before Europeans showed up and without colonial meddling we would be living in a Utopia.

Why was that dude's hand blurred out?

Also, in the game of thrones you either win, or die.

It might be because he was using an Xbox controller and Sony has had all these exclusivity deals with Assassin's Creed. Part of that could be making sure they don't promote the game with any Xbox ties.

I'm just waiting til the Paul Giamatti DLC is announced.

Interesting fact: No one who uses Giant Bomb is older than 59 years of age.

Thats very possible... and a little insane.. it might also be a wii u pro controller and this was edited before it was unveiled?

Ameerrrriiiicaaaaaa. AMEERRRRIIIICAAAAAA.

It's a shame so many of those war re-enactors are fucking insane hard-right people.

I suppose that would be possible but I feel like my theory is pretty likely Sony is investing quite a bit in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Exclusives for this game and the Vita game. But you could be right too.

Little bit weird that they're already referring to their game as a masterpiece before it's even released. I hope they can back that up.

Posted by Sombrero_Ninja

Nobody said anything about the "get over here" at the end?

Posted by FoxMulder

Played the shit out of 2, started Brotherhood when it came out but only barely. Tried to play it again not too long ago, but just couldn't get back into the AC style of gameplay. I doubt I ever will again!

They can't, it's just PR speak. At the very start it's obvious when narrator says: "One of the most anticipated titles in gaming history" and it will be "truly revolutionary" YOU SO PUNNY PUNISOFT

You know at some point it's really hard to make out who is being sarcastic and who is serious in this quote tree.

Btw the African country I live in is doing quite fine thank you, better then some EU countries these days, and it was colonized the fuck out of. Colonialism isn't in and of itself definitively bad or good, it's how you use it and what you make of it afterwards. America didn't turn out too bad either, nor did Australia. Plenty of bad and good examples to go around either way.

While I agree with most of what your saying, I dont think the natives of america would agree with you, also slaves.

Edited by Tennmuerti

@kpaadet: Slavery is indeed a hugely negative part of the colonial era. But lets not forget that slavery is also simply a continuation of serfdom in the feudal system as well as many before it, likewise forced labor under conquerors was not an uncomon thing in human history (ie slavery), and existed long before and after colonialism, as recently as WW2 being a good example. Not that i'm excusing it in any way mind you (just that it's not exclusive to col.). Lot of bad shit went on indeed :(

By i digress, my reply was mostly aimed at the comment on the current state of parts of the world affected by colonization earlier, rather then the shit that happened before.

Colonialism did some pretty fucked up stuff. But they also took people kicking and screaming into the modern era. Now whether they had a right to do that or not, who knows. But with out them we would not be the world we are today. Nations such as America, Canada and Australia, would not exist because of it.

real subtle. they titled the goddamn thing "Episode One: Making A Masterpiece" yeah right. the series has been a real boon to the arts-a regular opus of technology and cultural significance... you jerkoffs.
