It may look great so far, but your "Masterpiece" isn't even out yet you arrogant bastards!

This is looking awesome and I'm really looking forward to it, with the exception of the 20 minute long credits at the end.

Looks better everytime I see it.

This is a very nice little feature, wish it was a little longer. Still, can't wait for the next one.

Btw the African country I live in is doing quite fine thank you, better then some EU countries these days, and it was colonized the fuck out of. Colonialism isn't in and of itself definitively bad or good, it's how you use it and what you make of it afterwards. America didn't turn out too bad either, nor did Australia. Plenty of bad and good examples to go around either way.

People who demonize white colonizers: what about them made themselves evil? Was it their white skin? Would no one else have acted similarly if they found themselves at a great technological and societal advantage to where colonialism was possible? Have no other races ever done anything questionable?

I just HATE people judging others of far different eras from a modern view of morality. It is lazy and foolish.

The way their lorded their white skin and their white customs and their white mentalities over those who were heterogeneous and how they eradicated cultures, civilizations, and entire races made them evil. That my white skin still gives me a huge advantage over many people in modern society makes it evil.

Time doesn't excuse behavior. The KKK of 1920 isn't in any way more acceptable than the KKK of today's world.

But you missed the point where I said: Would no one else have acted similarly if they were in the situation with the opportunity? Did no one else act similarly on their own scale?

White people are demonized, when for example Genghis Kahn is the greatest mass murderer in the history of the world. There is no perspective.

And your KKK comparison doesn't fly with me because at least we are in the modern era. If we are going back to the times of colonialism there are so many differences I'm not sure where to begin. We are talking about a time where a medical doctor would tell you a black man wasn't a human being like you were. Extremely wrong, yes, but imagine yourself in their shoes before you simply demonize them.

@ArtisanBreads: That question is irrelevant. I decried colonialism, not the merits of white civilization. Had another race committed similar crimes in the place of Caucasians, they would still be just as bad.

And Genghis Khan is an extremely specific example. Practically all other conquerors who tried to accost Western Europe failed entirely. Furthermore, the areas where Khan attacked have recovered for the most part, excluding the Middle East. The effects of white colonialism are still visible today.

And furthermore, people have done terrible shit in the "modern era." The Belgian Congo, South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, and countless other countries have suffered injustice at the hands of insurgents in the past century.
