Assassin's Creed: Revelations Extended Story Trailer

I got really bored with Brotherhood. I am gonna take a pass this time.

So excited for reals. I haven't quite finished up Brotherhood yet, but I'm hoping to before this one comes out.

@UKSamwise: I know, but I still can't shake the feeling that Brotherhood and Revelations were one full game that Ubisoft divided.

But will Ubisoft finally move on from their Ezio-Altair-Desmond "memory" triangle?

They want the game to feel exotic without forcing players to read subtitles. They choose an accent that fits the "feel" of the game. You're in ancient times in locales on the other side of the world, if everyone walked around speaking with a generic American, Jersey, or Cajun accent it would be difficult to suspend disbelief. So far it's worked for me and likely the vast majority of others who played AC2 and Brotherhood.

Still excited for the game, but I actually yelled out at the ridiculousness.

Unbelievably keen for this game, I've never been one for pre-ordering but the animus edition's inclusion of that dictionary/encyclopedia thing is too good to pass up.

Any suggestions as to the best one? There are like five different pre-order 'editions' -I know the encyclopedia only comes with the animus edition already.

He didn't eagle dive into any haystacks at the end like I thought he would.

Is Eziold a joke yet? Google said yes. Great cinematography BTW.

@Aishan: I agree. Also, when I watch a trailer I want to know how the game is gonna be, not an event that's gonna happen in the game. Why spoil the surprise of an event of the game in the trailer or the 20 sec intro?

This has bugged me in every trailer and gameplay video where Ezio speaks.

Old Ezio doesn't sound old enough, doesn't bug me that much but for a guy who's pushing 50 he sure does sound like hes 30.

This trailer seems incredibly awkward without the music playing.

That was underwhelming. These kinda extended but not really trailers often are.

November is too crowded for this to be a day 1 purchase. I'll already be fully engrossed with Skyrim, and after that I'll want to play the new Saints Row. I'll pick this up in December/January when it's $40, like I did with Brotherhood.

I dunno about the voice, for a dude thats supposed to be hitting 50, it sounds off.

I don't care how "cool" that signature Edition is, I'm not pre-ordering/buying anything from Gamestop. I'll just buy this stuff when it eventually released as DLC. Just like I've done up to this point.

I love that trailer to death but that was a bit of a let down. He just pulls his hands out of the ropes just like that? Maybe he uses his other hidden blade to cut it but it's too fast?

Either way I still despise Ezios voice but happy to know I'll get to play as Altair again.

@LoktarOgar: I don't really think that's fair. Other than the crossbow in the original AC trailer, the other cinematics have been pretty representative of what you can actually do in game, albeit in a different circumstance than what's shown.

Take the AC:B one for example, it's actually pretty good at showing off some of the features: the assassin's helping out Ezio from afar, silent throwing dagger kills, counter-attacking the guard off the horse, and of course ending with a group of assassins fighting alongside him. Sure, that encounter with Cesare never actually occured in-game in the way in was shown, but it was a good example of what Ezio is actually capable of in-game.

This trailer was so much better with the original music. Still, great animation, lighting, shot design. Top notch as always.

I agree with you. The AC trailers tend to just show stuff you actually do, but in a different scenario. It's part of what makes them so good. You can watch this trailer and know you'll probably do most of this stuff.

I'm so fucking hyped for this game I pre-ordered the collector's edition, whatever the name of it may be. It's gonna be so fucking awesome!

The original had much more tension than one with an actual ending.. And of course he safelands from 6 stories above.
