I thought Brotherhood was a let down, AC was a lot better in my eyes.  I just want 3.

Jaja I bet half of the people that are bitching about too many AC games haven't even played BH.Besides if you haven't played BH by now why would you care about Revelations?If you don't like AC you wouldn't keep up with it.Ja you people amaze me.

I will happily pay $60 to stab some more faces and necks, as long as there's new stuff to stab with or to aid in the stabbing.

I fear Ubisoft might be over-saturating the Assassin's Creed franchise.  I don't believe we need a new AC game every year.  It feels too much like they're just tossin' them out there like Call of Duty games.   
 
Yeah, some of my complaint is that I still haven't played Brotherhood, but I still feel like they should rein in the annual releases.

Between this and Skyrim, I'll be happy to wait til next year for Mass Effect 3.

All logic dictates I shouldn't be excited for this given that its essentially just AC2.2 but fuck Brotherhood was so good and this from what I've read sounds even better.

Brotherhood was my second favorite game last year. Can't wait to see this! ^__^

milking it for what it's worth. I'm definitely skipping this one until i can get it for 5 bucks, that would be 6 months after it comes out. I love this series but it's Desmond's story I want to see. ubisoft "a reeeeeal cheap shot"

Revealed: Yo, world's gonna end, Desmond and all them are the ancestors of the original man Adam, magic gods are gonna try and help Desmond stop it all, Ezio gets it in, Abstergo has a lot of apples, Desmond has to fight the Templars.  Go forth, AC3, into modern times!

I think that Assassin's Creed should stop being a yearly sequel. I remember them saying quite clearly that a new Assassin's Creed game (not including the spin-offs on DS, PSP, etc.) was not coming out this year. Was that a lie?

QFT. I've had my fill of Ezio and Altair, I've been ready for new characters since Brotherhood truthfully. Also, I'd like to say that I'm really disappointed this wasn't the usual badass assassination trailer that they usually debut with. I know it says 'full trailer coming June 6th', but still. 

Hopefully this game is more Altiar than it is Ezio.

While the idea of yearly sequels may suck, I don't see how it is milking (as in negative) when Brotherhood was an outstanding game. Yearly sequels suck when its consequence is the production of bad games. So far, that hasn't happened to this franchise. Perhaps it will with this new game, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Milking a franchise has nothing to do with the quality of the games that are produced, it is the principal of making basically the same game year after year with minor changes. Brotherhood did get a big addition of multiplayer, which is a great step, but it is obvious this franchise is going the same route as COD. The games might be good, but that doesn't mean I want to play a new one every single year.

I would have to disagree here.  If a game innovates with every single title then I don't think it is milking.  If a franchise only had a title released every three years but it was always the same, then that would be milking.  So far, AC has had significant improvements with every title, so thus far I don't think the main franchise has been milked.  Whether you want to play one every year or not is a personal choice, and whether the franchise goes down a bad path has yet to be seen.

1. It's a business, they have to make money  
2. I think each AC game has been significantly better than the last  
3. It means I get a new installment faster
