Asura's Wrath TGS 2011 Trailer

After watching him yell for last 5 trailers, I'm kinda surprised (and intrigued) to see that there's an actual story. Unlike Kratos, however, it also seems like Asura has a motive behind all that screaming... and all those arms.

Looks cool but I wonder how you actually play? If we are watching gameplay then it is essentially a bunch of chained quicktime events.

He takes for granted the 2 extra sets of arms he has.

I like the look of the game but the voice acting, in my opinion, is bad. Not the worst out there but bad.

The image of the world at 0:58 is pure art.

You play as him yes, it's right there in the title of the game.

The guy at the end is the kinda rival assassin that wants to take you down...at least that's what I gathered from the cliched anime sayings interspersed with absolutely amazing visuals.

I really enjoyed the Naruto games by Cyber Connect 2 so I'm totally down with this no matter what!

Edit: I'm starting to think you just switch between them as the story goes on, maybe they start as rivals but the long haired guy realises the error of his ways and teams up with Asura against his old homies.

I love the insane sizes on some of those enemies, really makes you feel like an ant but an ant with apparently god like strength.

How long before we see some of these characters in a crossover fighting game?

On topic, this looks like it could be a pretty cool game if it actually has some decent combat mechanics and/or story. I like the overall art style of the game, but that's just about all I know from watching these trailers.

I watched the entire trailer, and not only did I have no clue what was going on, I now have less understanding of the premise of the game than before.

We all know what this game needs: An Endurance Run!

Fuck yeah!

The action looks great, but all the boss fights look like they're nothing but quick time events which I think could get old fast when playing it.

This games style is really awesome.

@Klei: I know how you feel, but in this games defense, its being handled by the team that made .hack. And while not everyone's up of tea, those games weren't crap. Have a little faith :)
