Dice need to be sued, no CG trailer can look this good, let alone a game. Is this some footage literally from 2014? Because godamn this looks good; If the next consoles can run this looking like that at 30 FPS or higher I'd be ecstatic.  
 
Also that sound at the end that coincides with the static is impossibly good too.  
 
Outdoing themselves there.

This is a first for me, but I think I'm gonna pre-order this. Still don't know which system I should get it on, PC or Xbox. Hell, if it'll run on my PC, I might just do a PC pre-order. Damn, I don't think I've ever said THAT before.

Try not to take it personally, they just want to use it as a setting for a story. I'm sure Russians and Russian-Americans get sick of it too, I'm willing to bet they probably still play stuff like BF2 and COD anyway (when it doesn't get banned). Game developers are just using the same-old style scenario of some current or historical "bad guy" in order to project the image of "bad guys" to the player. A story that involved the depth of a real conflict and the fact that bad guy v. good guy almost doesn't even exist in the real world is far to confusing, convoluted, and depressing for 6 hour multiplayer focused video game. Besides, I don't think I've ever heard of any shooter that condemns a people (excluding Nazi's) as dangerous or villainous. Governments yes, populations, pretty much never.

How do you know it has been touched up? Wait till you see it. 
This is likely running on a very high end machine and full settings, Most people will not see it looking as good as it could be, but From what current graphics cards and i7 chips can do - These realtime graphics are easy to do with time. The Frosbite engine certainly can do this. 
 
DICE if you remember were some guys with a bloody mental mod of Battlefield that I think any fan played to hell and back. To see them as a fully fledged company these days is great and I have total faith in them. 
 
As long as they keep the control feel is what I really care most about because for me and how I play this feels a lot better then it does in say COD.

Thats exactly what i mean, This kind of footage is pandering to 360 owners and pc owners to get them pumped into thinking THIS is what it is gonna be like. This is running on a high end machine and i THINK some of the animations have had some attention. But hey, videogames is a business right? Unfortunatly its not gonna look exactly like this. It will no doubt look pretty damn good - but, ya know. It's almost the same as taking a girl with a fantastic figure home with you, only to find out she was wearing a corsett the whole time and when she takes it off.......BOOM! the truth comes out...................in folds..........eurgh,,,

Did I just see 'W A S D' in a multi-platform game trailer? Awesome. But then again I guess EA just wants to show off the best graphics they can.
 
Even though its not that important, I hope the singleplayer doesn't have too many of the problems Bad Company 2 had with the friendly AI dudes waiting around for the player to move on alone - and then everything gets triggered at once. Felt very scripted.

Man, that looks pretty sweet. Read an article about this game where the developer is trying to pace the game So everything isn't at 11 all the time. You've got me interested DICE.

I'm glad there are other people thinking like this. I watched this trailer and yes it's pretty but I was just thinking 'this isn't Battlefield'.
I don't want storylines or firefights in close quarters, if I do I'll go to the enormous pile of games that already have that in spades. I want big open areas with lots of people working in squads (possibly under an inept commander, preferably with an array of vehicles) to own the battlefield.

Anytime someone self-proclaims themselves as the "biggest fan" of anything, that's like a warning that what they're about to say is going to be a spew of douche-baggery.  Good job, way to keep that stereotype alive and healthy .

That aside, this looks incredible. The only (minor) issue I have with this is the reload animation on the M4. While it is a valid way to reload, it's also completely pointless. Racking the bolt back just ejects the round you still have in the chamber, and if the mag was empty the bolt would've stayed back anyway and he could've just pushed the bolt release. Odd choice.
