As cool and as stylish the new Bad Company 2 game will be, I want to see some footage or something just in general from the single player aspect. That's what got me hooked in the first place, like Haggard and Sweetwater.

The VOs are fucking amazing. The used real-life marines to record that stuff and it shows. Kick-ass.

So what is the lag like on this game?  Is it as bad as COD's crummy netcode?  I'd like to know that when I am shooting at someone I am actually shooting them instead of them from 1/2 a second ago.

@Bgrngod: These DICE guys have been making MP games for longer than IW. AND the servers are all dedicated (console and PC). So lag won't be an issue.

umm even Bad Company 1 looks and plays better than MW2. Huge maps, great graphics, destructable envioronments, no camping, and it uses servers, on consoles! What strikes me as awesome the most is the audio. I hope it truly will be that fantastic in the actual product. I wouldn't doubt it, since the sound in the previous BF games have been superb as well. One other thing, would love those BF drums to play when you rank up. I think it sounds way more badass than Modern Warfare's brief rock clip.

Uhm, been in an empty house with wood floors? That building in the game was a completely empty brick "house". Of course it would echo.

btw. it definitly sounds that amazing. The first BF:BC had extremly well done sound-design. If anything BF:BC 2 will sound even more amazing.

I completely disagree. Have you ever moved into a house with wood floors? With no furniture or carpet, a wooden floored house echos exactly like that.

I hope that the building destruction is on par with that of Red Faction: Guerrilla as it stands (or falls?) the current building destruction looks promising from what I have seen.

No he's not, Bad Company remains the best multiplayer online combat game on Xbox, to this day.  If I wanted to die every two seconds I would go "mainstream" and play Modern Warfare 1 or 2 online and that's no indication of my skill, that's just the nature of MW.  Cramped maps are cramped.
