You mean they should come over to your place and install a better connection? "

You one of the lucky ones then. It's not the user's connection....the game ran smooth as butter for me the first two months of release, but then has had consistent (if not constant) lag ever since mid-May. My connection hasn't changed, so it's definitely the game.
A quick glance at the EA forums will show you that there's plenty of people with fantastic internet connections who are experiencing lag on this game.

What version of the game are you guys playing? I'm running it through Steam, maybe that's the thing?

Hm yeah. Forgot to mention i'm running the 360 version. Theres a good 10 of us with that version and none of us are having lag problems. There is a few occasions where one of my friends isnt able to join MY game. This is fixed by someone else simply setting it up. I can't speak for the ps3/pc versions but 10 out of 10 people without lag problems speaks volumes imho

DICE is even talking about the lag on the battlefield blog. it exists...or should I say existed. they've performed server maintenance a few times over the last week or so, and I played for a few hours last night and had zero lag, for the first time in over a month. I feel like dancing in the streets.

So they finally fixed the US servers? I've been playing on the UK servers which have been lag free. Lag free, but with some noticeable latency(understandably). It would be nice to get back on the US servers.
