Battlefield: Bad Company 2: The Limited Edition

Give me that firsttttt. Also, kind of excited.

The way they present this makes me feel really uncomfortable about balance.

And for those of you who order the regular edition you get exclusive access to watch the game being played!

I can't wait for this game. I couldn't care less about the unlocks they're touting here but I have to say I really like the trailers and promotional videos they've been putting out for this.

Why cant this just be in the reg. version????

Incredibly stupid idea for a limited edition, but damn it looks good!

The way they present it and word it -- "limited editions unlocks", not "limited edition exclusives" -- and considering a bunch of that stuff was in BC1, it sounds like the limited edition just comes with that stuff already unlocked, without having to first rank up to it. Calm down people.

Any idea if this stuff unlocks eventually for regular copies of the game, like the first BC did?

that's cool.  as long as there are no exclusives I don't mind stuff like this.

I'm pretty sure the "limited" edition of BF: BC2 is the same price as the "regular" one, just a limited run. I'm sure the exclusiveness expires some time (30 days?)

I'm guessing this is all perk stuff that everyone will have eventually, right? ..Right?

I think there are a lot of people expecting huge things from this game, especially after the MW2 PC meltdown.

Well...that's a waste of money!

While I'm sure this is stuff that can be unlocked later if you didn't buy the special edition, it's gonna hurt the multi either way. Maybe I'll just gamefly it for the campaign.

I'm really loving this, game looks great and you're getting a limited edition at no extra cost AWESOME!

Question is, will this be available to other people who buy the normal edition, and if not, will there be separate servers? All those advantages, in a mixed server, seem to me too be overwhelmingly useful - better armor? Tracer darts? This seems WAY shadier than the last BF game's buyable weapon fiasco.

I really think they're tryin' to go big with this one; and maybe, just maybe, create a Modern Warfare contender. Who knows? Looks good. Pretty sure I'm gonna get this one, which is odd; thought I was done with realistic shooters. I guess Modern Warfare put'em back on my plate.

Holy crap! The first game was good but this is on a totally different level! I think it's gonna surprise alot of people and might even put a tiny dent in COD MC2's sales.

Either way, even if you can unlock them, it's a pretty dumb decision to put them as limited edition content....wow...just wow..
