Update: EA has revealed a few more details about Vietnam, which will be a multiplayer-only expansion, featuring four new maps. Additionally, the add-on will include "enhanced" persistence, as well as new weapons, vehicles, unlocks, awards and Achievements/Trophies. Pricing will be announced at a later date. Wonder if I'll be able to airlift vehicles in this one, too. Also, I am extremely curious if this might lead to something like Battlefield 2143 or something.

I'm still kind of pissed off over the SPECTAT achievement shit.

hope Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" will be playable in-game, and not just in the menu like in the first BF:V. By the way, this seems to be pretty much a BF:V remake, the trailer was similar to the intro, obviously used the same music, and the propaganda speech you heard at the end was the same or very similar to the one they played over the White Rabbit remix in the BF:V menu.

Screw Lesser bands, screw semblance of relatedness it's the right period it needs to have Love on the tracklist.

So four new maps with period specific weapons and vehicles... wonder how much they're going to charge for that? (too much obviously) 

And doesn't it kind of go against they're "we're not going to split up the online community by charging for maps" statement?

This would be a lot cooler if the present state of Bad Company 2 wasn't such a rubber-banding mess.  Not buying an expansion if they can't fix the original.

Seems like a cool setting for BF: BC2.  Is this going to be a DLC release or a disc-based thing?

Won't be the first time Battlefield makes a Vietnam themed spin-off. Should have a rockin' soundtrack at least.

I ended up listening to CCR all last night because of this trailer.

The best thing about Battlefield Vietnam was all the period appropriate music you could play on the radio in vehicles.

Battlefield Vietnam was awesome and it'll be even more awesome with the new engine.

I'm pumped.

A full expansion for a modern FPS? Not just a whole new game...interesting. If this is almost a full game at an expansion's price tag I may have to applaud EA and Dice.

Remember kids, you can't have anything set in Vietnam without using CCR's "Fortunate Son" or Hendrix's version of "All Along The Watchtower".

Finally a game/part-of-a-game whose setting is in Vietnam and doesn't suck. I can't wait to get my hands on an in-game M-14.

mmmm yes, battlefield vietnam, one of the best battlefield games in TERMS of flying planes and choppers, very little has compared to it. I remember Operation Flaming Dart, i recall the same music as on the teaser, but flying those MiG-17 and MiG-21's, one with homing missiles the other with turrets. We used to play that one level like no other.
