for the love of god, do not buy this.

Why? The content is way more expensive individually. It's a great game.

No it's really not. New Vegas is not a great game. The DLC deserves applause for trying to tell a structured story over the course of multiple episodes, but it failed to be fun or improve on the faults found in the vanilla game. I just don't believe that Obsidian should rob more people of their money. The way it launched and the consumer support vis a vis patching was atrocious. They don't deserve your money, nor mine.

My opinion is right and your opinion is wrong!

@Oldirtybearon: I think the issue that most people are taking with your posts is the matter-of-fact tone you've got going on there.

The reality is that there are a hell of a lot of people who like New Vegas (myself included), and just because YOU don't like the game, it doesn't mean that anyone's "robbing" people of money.

For thousands of people, this is going to be a very solid and worth-while purchase!

For the $50 that it is listed for on Gamestops website, it is not even close to being worth the money. Like others have said... this game is pretty glitchy, plus I am not super compelled by DLC really other than having the complete game patched and in a complete package... I want to play this game, but not for anything over like $20 or $30 at most.

Fallout New Vegas...I liked it, and the mods have come through to make the PC version more atmospheric, more vibrant, and more complete (with new radio stations and such), even more than what the DLCs could hope to accomplish, which have been available for pittance on certain Steam sales events. The gamebryo stiffness and bugs are still there, but for what it's worth, time to time I trek across the Mohave and pop off cazadores with anti-material rifle san-VATS, with ED-E in tow, Obsidian's finest hour.

At this point, I think I'm more likely to buy Oblivion for the 360 & play that for the first time in ages than I am to get New Vegas. But we'll see. Maybe when the Ultimate Edition (glad to see they aren't trying to pass New Vegas off as GOTY edition) is a lot cheaper, a year or 2.

The main game is all you need. The DLC not compelling.

Bought the game on launch; recently bought all the (important) DLC. Only put 20 hours in. The money I could have not spent had I waited for this.

Awesome news. Too bad Bethesda games don't come out on Steam in Russia. Fuck you 1C for trying to curb the spread of digital distribution. I hope that deal was worth it, Bethesda.

New Vegas > Fallout 3.

I already own all of the DLC, and I'd definitely recommend it.

I didn't like the New Vegas DLC as much as the Fallout 3 DLC but at least I didn't pay full price for any of the New Vegas DLC.

Maybe I got lucky, but I encountered far fewer bugs in New Vegas than Fallout 3. I mean, there were still a shitload of bugs, but it was not as bad as 3. Ergo I had more fun with New Vegas than 3.

I really enjoyed this game even more so than Fallout 3. So this is great news for me since I want to play this on my PC and now I can get it with most of the DLC.
