I've been playing the demo and this is WAY better than the 1st in multiplayer. The biggest thing is shooting guns at people actually kills them not like in the 1st it taking a whole magazine to take someone down.

Come on Jeff! QL of the Demo, NAO! Beta wasn't good enough.

It is much better than MW2 but the average joe doesn't buy good games, just whatever is familiar to them.

do your multiplayer stats on the demo transfer over to the real game? 

Very good trailer. I wish more games has this sort of gameplay only no messy CG or 2 minutes of logos.

I'm excited for the game though, just got a gold account recently, played the BC2 demo..realized i own the first BC and have been having a blast* with that game. (* nudge nudge...explosions...get it? ) Hope to get to lvl 25 soon and then i'll most likely preorder the limited edition of BC 2...which will be the first game i've ever pre ordered in my life.
 
fun fact, never played any modern warfare multiplayer...MW2 should be coming today and wanted to play as  a comparison to BC multiplayer...and i hear MW2's pretty good...i heard that somewhere.

Loving this demo far more than MW2, having large scale maps, squads and what I'm enjoying the most, running around playing as a medic. Considering how quickly people can die, the med boxes sometimes feel pointless but I love watching my squad go in and if any bite the dust, I'm there ready to shock em back to life. Or even better, using the defibrillator on enemies. 
 
Love playing as recon, using the motion mines and C-4 but the best moments are playing sniper-snipers, although slightly cheap, spamming the back button in the distance to call out/flag enemy teams just taking them out. 
 
Great demo and can't wait for the retail product.

I thought the demo was pretty good, not sure if there was enough there to convince a purchase though, perhaps if there was another map in the demo

I'm probably gonna step on toes here, but I downloaded the PS3 MP demo, and I didn't find it particulary interesting. The controls feel clunky to me - not as clunky as the original BF:BC, but far from as smooth as MW2. Also, the weapons control felt a bit strange, but I guess that's just a matter of getting used to the way it works.
Most likely I'll still buy it at one point or another since I loved the campaign in the first, and want to see more of B Company, but the multiplayer isn't enticing me at all.

I can't wait to get this.  I played it a couple days ago and the MP blew me away.  It was so much more fun than the camp/cheese-fest that is MW2.

I have played more of the BF:BC2 demo this week that MW2, which is a complete game.   Maybe it is the novelty, but I like Battlefield more.  

trailer is nice...but they should have done a full match video to show all the lagging :D

Preordered this on Steam. Been playing the PC beta. It's awesome. I've also tried the 360 demo. Mostly just for fun and I wanted to compare the graphics. BC1 was one of the reasons why I a PC games enthusiast got a 360.

One thing I miss on the 360 demo, and apparently the PS3 demo doesn't have it either, are the BF drums that play when you drop in as a paratrooper. It's a small detail and they will mostly like add that touch to the console versions or remove it from the PC version, but I love BF's theme song and I get really amped up every time I hear it.

I'm not even interested in multiplayer, but this gets me excited.

Trailers for this are pointless for me now - was sold 100% on the demo!

been playing a ton on the pc. it's been an absolute blast. Really looking forward to more maps though!

I love the Battlefield series and Bad Company 2 can be a lot of fun. Unfortunately for myself, I cannot look past the the PC controls, performance issues and design choices. This is one of those games that I want to love more than I do.

The beta is pretty fun but I'm still much more interested to see how the single player turns out.

Yea looks like the demo I played and I really enjoyed the demo.

The closer the release date comes the sooner my MW2 will begin biting dust. :D
