BioShock Infinite: The Teaser Trailer

So was this one of the bookers that failed? And an elizabeth that has a power to float things?

I've watched this trailer a bunch of times now & that free fall at the end still freaks me out.

This is not looking good at all. Will have to wait and see more info/screen/gameplay before I trash it though.

Looks so very nice.. Even though it's rendered, it looks distinctly Bioshock.

Anyone read the latest Alastair Reynolds book? This has a similar vibe.

wow no more big daddies, little sisters or water. Not only does the graphics in the game look ten times better, but the fact that it is a complete different story makes me far more interested.

I don't know what to think. I don't know if you call critizise the name because ..well... this IS Bioshock in style all the way. So I don't know if the name was forced uppon them. I'm not really sure about the name "Infinite" though. The connection to "Icarus" is quite clear though. 
If this is what Levine and Irrational been working on since Bioshock and this won't release until 2012 then this game has a crazy development time. We are talking about 4-5 years of time to take the franchise to the next level, to really upgrade and change it while still maintaining it's core. 
 
I'm causauly optimistic about this. I don't believe that Irrational only will deliver Bioshock in the Sky. I think more is going on behind the curtain.

Can't wait! Looks like they are tsking the core concepts of the Shock series and doing and overhaul, which is what we want (and didn't get with Bioshock 2) - the only thing they could do to make this better now is make Elizabeth as engaging and compelling a character (and AI co-op character) as Alex from Half-Life 2...

It totally has the same feeling of Bioshock I and that is really interesting.

I think this is something I can get behind.

Looks so interesting but WHY THE HELL DO YA PUT BIOSHOCK IN THE NAME? God dammit man, such obvious milking of the franchise. I hope whatever they do, they tie the games together well.

But I hated bioshock 1 and didn't even bother with 2. So probably won't like this either.

I'm one of those people who really, really liked BioShock 2, the story may even be better than that of the original to me, but I'm willing to give this new one a chance. I'm with the Squad, though, the name seems like a marketing manoeuvre.

I thoroughly enjoyed BioShock 2 but never could muster up the gumption to go for a second playthrough... it felt like a wet sock in a newspaper flopping around letting out a "meehh" every now and then. 
 
I haven't watched a trailer that made my eyes pop wide open like this one has in a long time. I never thought a new BioShock trailer would make me do that again : )

It'd be so great if the dude keeps falling down, lands in the ocean 40 years later, and it's just Bioshock again.

This looks pretty good. I never got into Bioshock, but I do have a love for things flying when clearly they should not be flying, so I'll probably get this.

Meh. I thought the Irrational game would be something special and not more Bioshock.

Way more excited then for Bioshock 2, thats for sure. Still think its a crappy name though.

 See if they annouced Bioshock 2 and this was the trailer i would of been WAY more pumped for more Bioshock.

Chills. The claustrophobia of the underwater setting has been replaced with an incredible sense of vertigo I see. This just became my number 1 most anticipated game. 
 
... plus, Shawn Elliott worked on it. =P
