 Oh man, Zerocast. You cracked the case! I love when people just see a Japanese company and go "Ugh, this is definitely going to be terrible because it's from JAPAN."  
 
Your post is pretty much proof that rather than rationally disliking a game from Japan because of legitimate reasons, you just see "Japanese company" and immediately tune your critical eye to overdrive.
 
The only thing Square Enix's studios touched was the CG, and all of that has been fantastic.

I wanna preorder, but that's not much of a date;) 
Game looks sic. Considering that Mass Effect 3, Witcher 2, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Dragon Age II, The Old Republic, Pokemon Black & White, Dragon Quest VI, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Torchlight II, X-Men Destiny, and Diablo III (and others still!) are all coming out this year, it is going to take a LOT to get noticed in the RPG genre. Yet, far and away, DX3 looks the most compelling. 
If they nail this game, it's going to be sweet. I'm getting sick of generic swords n' sorcery, and want a return to late 90's PC game style BladeRunner/Ghost in the Shell cyberpunk. Don't let me down, DX3!

Deus Ex as a shooter was actually kind of poor, but that was forgivable at that time, and for that game. It looks like the shooting and such will be improved, I hope they didn't forget the RPG side. Looks like just some elements at best. 
 
Still like another poster pretty much said, I want to get this game so much it's bound to break my heart.

It looks fine but the animations (especially just walking, talking and gesturing) are really stilted. I guess that's a common problem though. Still, looking forward to seeing how this turns out :) I hope they have a couple of impact shots at least where the colour palette changes drastically though. It could get dreary for a whole game.

Premise looks pretty silly if I understand the trailer.  ...They're giving people bionic limbs and crazy advantages and then they're shocked someone starts using them to kick ass and go rogue? 
Ah well. Looks pretty well acted at least. Hope the gameplay delivers.

They said you actually don't have to fight at all, like the original. 
Facial animations look really stiff, otherwise the game looks good. Transforming gun arm looks sick as hell.

Mildly mixed thoughts, but on the balance it looks pretty cool. (Voice acting: not so much.) Just hope the PC port isn't super-screwy. I had many a fond moment playing the first Deus Ex.

Precisely why I said "which is a lot sooner than that". I came up with the Q4 2011 from the Deus Ex GiantBomb page that has that as the release date, so I was just checking :)
