@Ramyun: Before. Based my interest on the blurb and idea. I think there's room for a downloadable MP shooter. There have been attempts before but nothing that's stuck.

For a war game, even though it's downloadable, this looks like it's set way far in the future, and not realistic at all.

I think you're thinking about Black Powder Red Earth. Which I think was cooler back when it was set on Mars.
Which you can apparently play right now on Facebook....?
 
I think Tango Down is cool because I like that Marcus Beer is pimping it.

looks like total garbage. though i did enjoy those random little filters and effects tacked on at the end. each one of them, more dumb and pointless than the previous one.

Yeah, very UT3 mod vibe.. Also the fact that it seems to take 10++ bullets to kill a dude whilst looking like they're trying to go for a semi military-real-world kind of design just doesn't sit well with me.

@jasonlblair: I realize I'm late to read your comment, but just pointing out there has been a successful multiplayer downloadable shooter. Battlefield 1943 sold almost two million copies and is by far the best selling digitally distributed game in console history.
