Yes yes! I sure will miss Spelunkin' with Scoops. It really re-energized my interest in the game and transformed it into an obsessive love that I didn't expect. Rouge Legacy and BOI now.

The A.M. is being bombed by Scoops and the Wolf.

How much for a Rusty Slugger?

ps: Awesome Metz shirt @alex

I have the same feelings towards Baseball as you guys, but play Road to the Show in MLB 14: The Show. Then you will see the draw of this game. Grab it every year and its all for RttS.

Patrick, you should totally play a Ace Attorney Game.

I followed the 999 developer on twitter after all the mutterings, and he was asking more questions about kickstarter last night. He didn't seem to know much about it, but he's definitely still thinking about crowdfunding. I didn't like VLR as much as 999 either, but it's still pretty damn incredible for its own reasons; I want to see where they take it from here.

I still hope he does find a proper publisher though; I worry what the effect of crowdfunding would do to the "sanctity" of a third game and how he would handle backer rewards (though I suppose you could argue the same with any sort of funding), but if kickstarter is the only way that game happens, make it happen.

Oh come on, Patrick. You're ok with Gone Home being tagged with 'not a game'? It's completely insulting to both Steve's team and the game itself; same with 'walking simulator'. You say this while also going hard against Phil Fish's quotes being attached to Fez? Gimme a break.

Yeah, I wasn't clear if Patrick was trying to re-appropriate the terms for positive use or if he just didn't recognize that they were lazy insults.

@alex Apparently the first script that Matt & Trey brought to Obsidian, Obsidian said the game wouldn't be ready until like 2032 or something if they included everything that was in the script. Plus I think this is more of a Matt & Trey wanted to finally make an awesome game other than a company wanting Matt & Trey to just write something so they could put it in a South Park licensed game. So with that and similar to what Patrick said about their influences being Earthbound, Paper Mario and Legend Of Zelda, I'm thinking it'll be about 30-40 hours with the side stuff included. 15-20 hours does make sense though if somebody's just running through the story like you said.

P.S. Do you know if you'll be reviewing it?

You're not allowed to take Monday off, Patrick. Last holiday you played through what, 10 hours of and beat Dark Souls? I think this time you need to start up and beat Demon's Souls.

Just make sure to be a magician.

I'm bored of Titanfall already, glad they released the beta/demo because I don't have to drop money to try it now.

Patrick doesn't go to the South Side of Chicago much, does he? :)

Titanfall is awesome, playing the beta right now on Xbox One, it really is fun, specially for a casual player like me!

If I time the seconds it takes for my target who ejected out of his titan to fall back onto mine I can boost away right as he lands and then boost towards him and punch him in the face....?

Kudos to Alex's Metz shirt.

@basketsnake: If he tries to land you on you totally can.

Great game.

@alex: I'm sorry but you can't really judge LoS. As far as I recall you didn't even make it through the second chapter (out of 12). Literally everyone who played through this game will tell you that it picks up immensely with the 3rd chapter.
