I still think Halo 2 has the best music of the series.

This is the first time I've been able to watch a Bombin' the AM live and I liked it! Will make sure to check in whenever you're live from now on :)

You guys should use the previous video's picture in all your releases. That baby looks so damn rested! I can't think of the last time I've ever felt like that.

Patrick your eyes must be really dry, you should try blinking some more...

@patrickklepek Ring of Honor runs shows every few months at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge. Next show there is Aug. 23.

Some pretty great Kinect talk near the end of this one. It's such a bummer to see what Rare has become. Yeah, Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Perfect Dark Zero weren't so hot, but between both Viva Pinata games and Nuts and Bolts, you could still see the company that made all of those great games.

After Viva Pinata 2? Not so much.

How could you enjoy living in a city where the local transportation ranges from smelly cabs that are overpriced and wont take you where you want to go, to subway that is overcrowded, a hot mess, and changes schedules without notice?

Its unacceptable for the cost of living.

Add the ridiculous taxes and it seems like the last place you would want to hang your hat.....

Just getting used to a horribly managed city would never be enough to allow me to look past it.

Now Toronto.....thats slammin'.

VFW wrestling rules. When i was little, i got to be part of a few shows. I would take the belt from the champ before he started the match and he was a heel, so me being a little kid he would yell at me and i would get scared. It brought so much heat on him, he loved it. A neat experience ill always remember.

The FCC has become completely political. If you spread money around to the right people it looks the other way. Its just another corrupt bureaucratic arm used by the fed govt to wield power.

Everybody seemed to love Far Cry 3 when it came out and now they hate it? Why does that always happen?

Did you see the sign? Cause it opened up my eyes.

I will always have a soft spot for Halo 1 music wise. ODST was solid and the game was pretty fun too but I didn't really enjoy the music all that much compared to the thumping action tracks in the main series.

Nah, people have talked about how they story was bad/dragged after the first half and had some white supremacist for a long time. The game is still fun as hell to play (especially the PC version) and had cool set pieces through out.

I wish more people would realize the truth about Rare, I find it especially bizarre when people start saying "please make a new conker!" whenever Rare gets brought up. Conker feels like it was very much a byproduct of the personalities of the people who made it.

If the current team at Rare made a new Conker game, it would be like if Kojima left Konami for good 10 years ago, and Konami decided to say fuck it, lets give it a shot, and put a new MGS game out. Sure it'll have some solid snake look alike running around with a gun, but you won't get the weird secrets in it, it won't have Kojima's weird humor and sense of cinematic action in it, and you probably wouldn't get any kind of overly dramatic, but still effective "words that kill" trailers.

What is Patrick saying about the FCC, and what way is he wishing they'd do their job that they're not?

And can someone tell an ignorant person such as myself how Far Cry 3 "handled race"?

I don't know who "everybody" is but everyone working at Giant Bomb thought that the story of that game was real bad by the time they finished it.

@ajroo: If you still think Toronto's transportation system is 'slammin', you haven't spent enough time there.

I feel like everyone was (deservedly) on Far Cry 3's case in regards to its terrible story since it came out.

I enjoy racism in my video games.

I think you're wording or thinking about this the wrong way. If you frequent sites similar to Giant Bomb you'll hear similar opinions. The other opinions you don't hear because you don't go to alternative sites or the employees of Giant Bomb (or wherever) haven't been able to read them yet.

If you're referencing how this is "similar" to Bioshock Infinite or other games, well, the same applies. I would actually say it doesn't always happen the same way with any two games.

Alex's Wolfenstein revelation is truly out of left field. Obviously the game's marketing department didn't think it good to tie their big game to one that no one played (from another publisher no less), so why did the developer actually do that?

I'm really interested in The New Order, but having never played the 2009 Raven game, I'm rather annoyed that I'll be missing backstory. Even more annoying, say I did want to remedy that and play the 2009 game - turns out you can't buy it PC digitally anywhere anymore, presumably due to the Wolfenstein IP rights passing to Bethesda, Activision no longer has license to sell it.

I really don't understand when people have problems with the subway here in New York. Everything is super clearly marked (except, as noted, on the weekends and they're usually pretty good with that too). There's pretty much never a reason to take a cab or walk a huge distance if you know what you're doing. The MTA worker death stare is real though. That's a thing.

@triviaman09: Most the problems I have lie in getting bad instructions from people. You're right, in that if you pay attention you can usually get where you're going without trouble.

@vetterli Check out the audio-only version in the podcast section of the site if you're looking for some more portable stuff, too.

Another good episode, gents!

Yeah Alex was dead-on correct about the weekends. The best is when you wait 30 minutes for a train on the weekend, then halfway through the ride they announce they are changing routes or something, so you have to get off at the next stop and wait again.

Weekdays are great though.

@inresurrection: I know the "Rocket" isnt great, but i beats the heck out of dealing with NY's hot mess of a subway system. In my comparison of the two cities, ive enjoyed my time in Toronto a bit more than the time ive spent in NYC.
