Nope, it's dubstep. It's from a well known dubstep band, who are from the UK where the genre originated.

This game had me sold on how good the first one was, but all that aside, Gearbox really knows how to make themselves a trailer.

Those guns look way cooler than the guns in Borderlands. Hopefully the repeaters, pistols and revolvers aren't as useless as they were in the first game. The wide gun selection was awesome, but mostly were good for just to look at and not of any actual use. I got most of my use out of shotguns, submachine guns and rifles.

Has is been confirmed or denied that there will be some customization in this game? I remember it being mentioned at some point, but only in terms of light customization.

Reinstalling Borderlands 1 right now. Goddamn this looks good.

By far the best trailer for a video game I have ever seen.

I very honestly have trouble understanding why dubstep is such a thing beyond an effect..cool but hey. But I am warming up to things electro and such..it has it's place in a psy sort of way. Then other of it seems pop junk. But I am not the target age group.

As for Borderlands 2, love the art style..hope once again you can SP it. Otherwise..i don't know....

Is that Laura Bailey I hear? It certainly sounds like her. Anyway, I can't wait for this game. I played the absolute shit out of Borderlands (even that damned Mad Moxxi DLC) and everything about this trailer let's me know that I'm probably going to be playing the shit out of Borderlands 2 as well.

I think that pre-ordering games seven months before they're released is a generally ridiculous idea.

This trailer hasn't grabbed me in the slightest. Borderlands 1 was fun for a little while, but this trailer isn't showing me anything really new or cool enough to warrant buying the sequel.

So it's just more Borderlands. Cool, I'm down with that.

Alright trailer, but i dont really want more guns, i spent most of the time in the 1st one selling guns. The more skills and split-screen sounds good though. Curious how the story is going to go, cause we already know whats in the vault. Also what was with cgi lady right at the end, seems a bit strange while the rest of the trailer was the cell shading

I kinda thought the same, but I'm hoping he makes up for it in the game but actually making dubstep noises in between talking.

Zero aka Gray Fox, looked badass. Also liked the beard of Salvatore. Beyond that, looked great and I'm sure I'll dive into this with someone.

They used FMV in the first Borderlands as well, the chick that talks to you throughout the game via the visions and communication thing is a real person. I've got no idea who this person at the end of the trailer is exactly, but I'm sure shes somehow related. My money says she'll be the one guiding you to whatever your objective in the game is, and is related to the first chick in some way. I'm not sure what the timeline is on this game.
