Brad Thinks He Knows the Ending to Mass Effect 3

The issue with this setup is that the problem people have with the ending is so non-specific from a plot standpoint. There's no way he could guess "the thing" that had people so up in arms because of the nature of the ending.

This is amazing! Since the ending(s) of Mass Effect 3 really don't have anything to do with the story before it/them, I'm betting Brad is way off base. Can't wait to see his reaction!

I hate the ending of Mass Effect 3 so much. Nine months later and I'm still bummed about that game.

biggest drama in my shallow little life in the past 9 months.

If he's near the end of the game, has played the dlc, and was ever listening during ME3 discussions on the podcast then he should have a pretty damn good idea what the ending is. Which is why it's going to be hilarious when we find out how wrong he is.

0% chance. I just hope he brings Liara and Javik to Thessia, because the level of condescension in that part is fucking magical.

@mlarrabee: It's still a really great game. The ending isn't horrible it's just...different.

I don't think he's right, I don't know how he can be, although he may get the basics down. Also, people need to not post what they think he wrote, 'cause then it might give him some ideas.

Speaking as someone who actually liked the endings (and the extended cut), both the dream and the thing you've got spoiler blocked were COMPLETELY anathema to my enjoyment.

Something like "Kai Leng is Shepard's brother."

Watch the way his hand moves. He clearly wrote "Shepard was in the animus".

No. Some people say that the ending didn't really eliminate the idea of that being it, but I think it clearly did. When I was playing the extended ending, it felt as if Bioware saw that theory and downright denied it through subtly, and not so subtly added scenes.

I love that this is a thing. I can't wait for the revelation of it all.

There's no way he could guess an ending that was practically written without the entire rest of the trilogy in mind, but he's probably absorbed enough through osmosis that he might have a clue. He had to have heard about the child at the very least

I'm just honestly surprised that Brad has managed to avoid any knowledge of the ending, especially considering what line of work his in. If not absorbing it from friends then some dick on the Internet twitting or spoiling it in a forum title.

If he manages to guess right, we can officially call Brad a videogame clairvoyant. There is no way he's gonna be able to get it.

I just finished it in the last week & so I was really expecting a disappointing ending & had lowered expectations. Oh Brad you so silly, no one hated the ending for just 1 thing, people hated it for many reasons, some chose to dwell on some more than others. Me personally I never got enraged by it, just mildly disappointed as I felt Bioware was capable of more but god I really don't want this topic to be debated to death all over again, this is why I wish he had just played the game when it was out.
