There are parts of it where I most definitely agree with you. Some of the camera angles are atrocious. It's really, painfully clear that this started of as a Resident Evil game.

Enjoyed the video, but does anyone know how or if you can have the video on the left side of the window?

I got used to it being on the left side, similar to when I watch youtube or Twitchtv. It's pretty standard to be on the left side in English-speaking countries, and now the video is on the right, which is just a little odd. Is there some way to hide the text on the left so that the video centers or can I just get the video on the left? I like the size, but I would just prefer it on the left.

I was pretty certain we already knew about the next Batman game. Paul Dini left for...whatever reason (I remember reading about "Creative Differences" in regards to story...which is not good, as Dini is the best thing to ever happen to Batman), and there's Silver Age references, or the story is Silver Age based, or something. Am I crazy? I was quite certain I remember hearing about this months ago.

One of those games that probably would've been a good enough reason for me to buy PS2 besides God of War 1&2, I suppose...but I guess I'll settle for the new DmC, which I'm having a blast with!

Also this is probably the first time (well, this and the first part) I've seen this game in action. Before this I just knew it had some crazy shooting, rockety music and a logo I used to think was a cat, not a person holding guns.

Oh, and I also remember this advert...(PS2 used to have such odd/good ones...)

Watching Brad refuse to just humour Vinny and punch the brazier on the side of the door started to give me a panic attack or something, I just started 'sperging out. Can't imagine what twitch chat went like during that.

I'm glad to see Brad is having some trouble with the game and dying a good amount. After hearing that you don't really die in the new DmC I was really worried that people would get the wrong idea about other games in the franchise. They are challenging games. I'm disappointed the series has moved in a direction that doesn't interest me.

Have people not been telling Brad about the secret missions? People mentioned them during the first stream, but he's made no attempt to do/find any of them.

Considering how good Brad seems to be at this, I kinda understand why he liked DmC so much - that game is easy enough even on the harder difficulties and has so many overpowered moves and weapons that it's kind easy to feel a complete badass if you don't have much experience with the previous games or even games in this style. I mean, I'm ripping through DmC on Nephilim and Son of Sparda and I completely sucked at the previous games, to the point where I found Normal in DMC3 to be really challenging.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the film "The Crying Game" with Stephen Rea. It's pretty infamous and despite being good, it's pretty much only remembered due to a very specific plot point. There's even a trope on TV Tropes titled specifically after it - "All There Is To Know About The Crying Game".

Wow, just wow. Didn't brad just review the new dmc. Watching him play. I almost felt sorry for him. This is the original devil may cry, on normal. Its so easy.

I Love that Brad totally forgot to collect his blue orb after he died. It's like he's never played a video game before.

I really admired the texture work and the level design of this game back then when I played it and damn, it still looks gorgeous (with respect to its age, of course).

@freshbandito: of course you can imagine it - it was crazy. Loads of people, including me, just yelling PUNCH THE FIRE DOOR over and over. I'm so glad Vinny's there.

Has anyone else tried downloading this? I've tried three times and each time it will download 2 gigs (out of 2.7) then just register as finished. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask questions about something like this.
