Wellp, that sure is Jack Black being Jack Black. Not much else I can say about it!

Or, they could have more sneak peeks with the creator instead, which area  lot cooler.  And old JB is in acting mode...

The sad part is that these have a higher rating on GameTrailers than most of the actual videos for the game.  Tragedy.

No joke, I'm starting to have second thoughts about buying this game.

Jack Blacks voice acting in game seems perfectly fine, he just ruins it by going way over the top in these things. I can usually appreciate over the top funny, but not these brutal thoughts videos. Luckly, they dont seem to reflect the game in anyway at all, so the game still looks set to be amazing.

The sensation of being fed up with J. Black that you people are experiencing, can only be a fragment of how fed up I am with your comments. Nothing is as dull and unsexy as people boohooing in unison. And I'm far from a big fan of the little chubster in question. (The Shaefer QL did impress me though.)

i only liked jack black in one thing. Pick of Destiny. So I'm hoping this is more of that. But i too am weary of the jack blackness that this game may have. Other then PoD i cant stand him in any of his comedy roles. He just gives off the feeling of a guy trying too hard to be funny and falling flat 99% of the time.

I love the Iced Earth

Jack Black's not all that bad, Tim Schafer is consistently funny, Black's personality and voice suit the character Schafer created. Why are people being so bitchy about this?

Jack Black is a legend, he manages to keep things intresting and exciting even when nothing is happening. Its just a roll as well. 

Good thing it's only Jack Black's voice in this game, and not his complete lack of appealing to anyone over  the age of 12.  Seriously even he can't fuck up Doublefine's writing. Plus Mr. Curry is in this now, nuff said.

I haven't found any of these videos too funny yet, though I don't mind Jack Black.

The non-stop jockeying for cool credibility in the comments here, by moaning about Jack Black, is even less funny though.  Schaefer created a character, and JB's Tenacious D persona fits that character perfectly.  Quit bitching, and making ridiculous comments like "these videos make me want the game less".

This scene reminds me of a Futurama exchange:

Jeez what crawled up your guys butts? Everyone sees Jack Black in a corny ad and instantly everyone goes from, "This game looks pretty good," to "OMG ITS HORRIBLE I HATE JACK BLACK HES NOT FUNNY!"

Goddammit Lemmy Kilmeister and Rob Halford and Tim Curry are also staring in this game if you've forgotten.
