I love how Ryan did a double take to get a good shot of that dude's awesome stance/hair.
So wish things like this happened near me...

I just love the awesome swimmy coming-and-going sounds montage you get as Ryan walks through.

OMG!  MY Pinball Machine DREAMS COME TRUE!  They had the Indiana Jones game I played so much in college.  Anyone see Apollo 13 with the 13 ball multiball there?!

Ryan,
You are the best but just a couple of request....

Anytime you see someone with a ponytail PLEASE stop and ask them questions.
Also, if anyone is sporting a ponytail AND kilt you have to interview.

Second, if someone is wearing a Karate Kid(aka Danielson) headband, please stop and interview.

Keep up the great work as always.

Yeah, that's a Raiden machine. There were two of them there, I think.

I cannot overstate how important the sound of CAX is to the whole experience. It's a giant room full of 400+ arcade and pinball machines, all of them seemingly set to full blast. When you first walk in the door it's overwhelming in the absolute best way possible. Both years now, I get actual chills when I step inside for the first time.

No Time Crisis! That sound was probably the Point Blank machine they had on display. I didn't get to play, but if I were to own a light-gun game, it'd probably be one of those.

Are you an actual, literal fetus? If so, I am unbelievably impressed by both your typing and grammar.

Tron, Popeye, and Atari Star Wars are three games I always wanted to play but have never been able to.  Somehow downloading a ROM on MAME just doesn't seem like it would do them justice.  It would have been great to be able to go to a place like that.

Also it baffles me why someone would be wasting time playing a game like bubbles when theres so many great games you can be playing at that event, even if you had to wait in line.

Shite, the public isn't supposed to know about the government's elite unit of fetuses infused with nanomachines yet.

Actually, I'm 20, so to some I suppose that's still a fetus considering that my first console was the N64. And yeah, like I said, I don't think I've ever seen a pinball machine in person before. The only arcade games I've played are After Burner II and some lightgun games in movie theaters as a kid, and even then they were pretty outdated. I have only heard tales and seen brief footage (such as this) of the fabled "Peen bahl" in its natural habitat.

I recognised the clacking of the Point Blank light guns before it came into view. Man, I played that game so much on the lunch break for my old summer job. That and Sega Rally.

Is it just me, or does it sound to quiet in there for the massive amount of machines that are running in that place?

Willow cabinet, awesome.
Star Trek arcade game, yes.
Laserdisc game section, why not.
Cocktail pinball machines, wow those are rare.
Cocktail Stargate? never saw that one.
Vintage pinball, bells and buzzers fool, no dot matrix here.
The Deep at 6:53.  God damn I would pay dearly to own that cabinet, impossible to find.
Popeye, still no VC release Nintendo, WTF?
Journey, tape still working?
Reactor, great game that few remember.
Tapper, no fucking root beer here son.

I still didn't see a Cloak & Dagger cabinet, damn that game is rare.

Yet again I wish I could go, but $100 in gas is a lot to go play some arcade games.  Maybe if that dude was selling The Deep cabinet.
