Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Features Digital Kevin Spacey, Explosions

Faces still look weird as others have mentioned. It's still Call of Duty. Not interested. I will just keep watching House of Cards thank you very much. :-)

You know, of recent i haven't been particularly fond of CoD, but man do i like a good spider tank.

You know, I, for once, embrace the shift in tone this trailer seems to point out.

Call of Duty is better when he tries to be Michael Bay (tongue in cheek dumb) than Aaron Sorkin (pseudopolitical).

Nice to see the GBA still getting some new games. I also look forward Frank Underwood's monologues about power and/or "Doing it for the power."

That Spacey diatribe could have been so much better. Call of Duty needs it some better writers if it wants to pull off a narrative with any sort of real emotional heft to it.

I Wish high brow actors would invest their time in more story centric videogames instead of the big obvious ones where they would be least needed or appreciated, such as COD campaign :S! I want Spacey in a telltale or naughty dog game for petes sake!

All of the usual suspects for a Call of Duty game are present.

This looks an awful lot like Black Ops 2.

Kevin Spacey's video game persona has more textures and more details than models for characters had in the previous gen, but he has extremely dead eyes and no facial animation at all, this looks terrible

I'm finding it unsettling how positive the response is to something COD related. In all seriousness though, the trailers wasn't bad -- actually, I watched it twice.

It kinda makes me laugh, every time I say i'm done with COD, they put out a trailer like this one, and i'm like OMG OMG OMG .. I so want to play this.. Their marketing really works.. :)

I need to see gameplay. It's definitely seems like a more interesting direction but that was 95% cutscene.

Not gonna lie, this looks interesting. And I haven't played one of these games since CoD 4. Though Blops 2 was pretty good as well, according to Jeff?

I'm calling it - You WILL be able to play as Frank Underwood in CoDAW multiplayer for the low price of gross-ass DLC.

I really wish they spent more resources on better facial animation. Usually it wouldn't bother me, but Kevin Spacey is a great actor and with current technology allowing games to look as good as they do, I just think what's the point of getting someone like him and putting his image in a game with cut-scenes that are meant to replicate live-action if his performance is going to be gimped to such a degree, with those dead eyes and unnatural mouth movements etc...It's especially irksome since I know excellent facial animation is possible nowadays with games like Infamous Second Son.

So... They watched a lot of House of Cards and the documentary Shadow Company?

Putting Kevin Spacey in your video game is a damn fine way of getting me to play your video game. Facial and body animation looks great but the eyes are SO DEAD. It's like looking into the eyes of a corpse that is walking and talking.

Oh, and the rest of it looks like more black ops 2.

Just like the cinematic, actiony trailer of Watch_Dogs, this didn't do much for me either. I remember getting so hyped after seeing the trailer for Modern Warfare 2 back in the day...getting old, I guess.

Man, just a slight change in tone and dialect and I just don't see Frank Underwood there at all. Spacey is such a terrific actor.

The game looks like a mix between Titan-free Titanfall and Black Ops. But at the same time, looks like s well walked safe path. I'm sure it'll be a competent game though.

Its terrible, just so agonizing terrible.

Okay, first of all, where is this coming from and how does it have anything to do with House of CODs?

Second, everyone in the games media makes sarcastic remarks about Nintendo. Constantly. It seems like it's practically part of their job requirements at this point. In order to be in the game industry currently you basically have to be completely over everything Nintendo is doing.

You know, I don't think this will be the year COD fails. I don't like COD and this looks damn cool.

id like to think this takes place long after house of cards ends, and this is where frank underwood ends up.

By the time season 10 of House of Cards rolls out it will probably be indistinguishable from this.
